Zeeworld: Tuesday March 27 Update On “Lies Of The Heart” Episode 468-470

While ishaani descends down the stairs, aksh sitting on the sofa, is giving dreamy heroic dialogues, that make ishaani feel like he is saying those for her, but finds that he is merely rehearsing lines. he comments that he is looking very beautiful. she tells him that diya is getting married, and gives the invitation card, and tells about the details.


She asks if he shall come, since he appreciates Diya. he says that he shall come if she likes it. She says that today is the haldi, and after 3 days it's her marriage. he says that he would fix his schedule for her. But just then, his wife comes in and says that he shall not go anywhere or to any party. he asks her not to create a scene, as she works for him. she asks ishaani to stay in her limits of a servant, if she works for him, and not try and get personal. he asks his wife to stop overreacting, and take care of his reputation. she says that she is doing this for that sake only, and then continues to demean ishaani, asking her not to lure him into any traps. he says that she just came to invite him. she asks why was he invited alone, as she as his wife should have been invited too. She says that today she came to the house, to invite him, tomorrow, she shall invite him to the bedroom. ishaani and akash are outraged. she asks ishaani if this is what she wants, and asks her to get lost, or else she calls the security. ishaani leaves hurt. Akash is tensed.

Amidst merriment and festivities, Diya goes through the haldi ritual, while Shaurya is unable to take his eyes off her, as he eyes her lovingly. All enjoy and dance in celebration. Diya too eyes shaurya, as he goes into a dream sequence, of having his haldi ritual with her, and they both enjoying the romance. They are both drawn out of their dream as people enjoy. Chiku comes in and alerts Shaurya, and he takes his eyes off her. Damini eyes Diya evilly, and thinks that soon her entire glow shall turn down. she asks urmi to scrape off the haldi that's to be sent to urmi, and then sumit’s haldi shall have to be put on diya. Urmi cmoplies, pointing out the importance of the rituals. Chiku tells Shaurya that if the love is true, then bride leaves at the altar too, and that there’s still time. he asks him to stop messing with his head, and shut up, and stay out of it.

Urmi gives diya’s haldi to rani and asks her to give it to sumit’s mother who’s upstairs with Damini. She complies. Rani accidentally collides with Shaurya and the haldi spills on shaurya. all are surprised. the ladies comment as to how this is a weird coincidence, that the bride’s haldi is to be put on the groom, but it went on shaurya instead. urmi asks rani to take off the rest of diya’s haldi and take it up. she complies. shaurya is too shocked to respond. Chiku thinks that even the god wants them to be together and asks Shaurya to take this sign. he eyes Diya who is tensed.


In her room, Damini cxelebrates her vicious plan with sumit’s mother, who gives her her own, her husband and her son’s passports, so that she can get the visa done, and they can get a holiday in Europe for a month. Damini dramatically portrays to the groom’s mother, that she is already envisioning diya dressed as a bride, jilted at the altar, utter humiliated and disgraced, in front of the entire media, much to her evil relief. She says that she started this story, and she shall see to it that it ends as per her plan too. She says that she had promised she would finish off diya, and by the end of the marriage, she would kill diya too. The groom’s mother is amused too. damini says that this was her revenge, as diya is an idiot now, and might have guts but not good fortune. She says that diya doesnt even know what came and hit her, as she is preparing for suicide and not marriage. She is asked how is she sure, that diya shall commit suicide. damini says that she shall see to it, that the story goes according to her plan.

Meanwhile, Rani hears this from outside the room, and is appalled, and shocked. she wonders what to do about it. Damini eyes rani hearing in the mirror, and rushes after her. rani comes down meanwhile, and shaurya finds her tensed, asking what's the matter. rani says that she has something urgent to speak to urmi only. She tries to search around for urmi. Anirudh too asks whats the matter but she doesn't tell anyone. she keeps searching for urmi. finally, she finds urmi and says that she has something very important to speak, but before she is able to say anything, damini comes in, and asks why she didn't give haldi yet. Urmi asks what she wanted to say. rani keeps trying to say, but damini holds her hand and stops her, asking if she shall give the haldi, or they send her off too. urmi is boggled to find rani so tensed, as she has no option but to go to give haldi to sumit’s mother. damini is relieved but furious still.

In her room, diya is lost as she remembers damini’s threat. Urmi, along with anirudh and shaurya come in. She is surprised. Urmi asks her to decide on the jewellery that anirudh has specially designed for her. she is overwhelmed and says that it wasn't needed. They ask her to select and not be formal. She starts crying. In front of urmi and anirudh, shaurya asks diya if she is unhappy with this relationship. Diya breaks down into tears and says that she isn't. All are shocked. They ask her not to feel stranger to them, as they are linked since they consider her as their daughter. Diya says that she is lucky she got their love and concern as a family. Urmi asks her not to cry, while anirudh jokes that she would need them when she leaves the house. Anirudh and urmi leave when diya smiles. but shaurya stays behind as he still finds diya tensed. he comments that she isnt happy still. She fumbles, but he sees through it, and says that the bride’s glow is something else, which is not visible in her eyes. she blurts out that she has no other option. She says that she isn't happy, but happily lucky. He then points out that the first good guy, and she decided to get married, after one meet. he says that its a wrong decision. she says that he is a good guy who came forward to marry her, knowing her past. Shaurya says that he is coming forward right now, and asks if she would accept him, as he is a pretty good guy. he asks her if she shall marry him. Diya is shocked.


Diya is speechless at shaurya’s weird demand. She asks what's this question. he asks her to answer as if anyone had come and proposed to her, then would she have accepted his hand in marriage. She says yes. He then extends his hand. she says that she is already doing so, as sumit is a nice guy, and she doesn't want to listen, feel or understand anythign else now. he controls his emotions and then walks out, bidding her goodnight. she is extremely upset herself.

In her room, damini ties rani in ropes, threatening her what was she trying to tell urmi. She asks whats urmi’s problem, that all worship her as the goddess. rani asks what has diya done to her. Damini shuts them saying that she doesnt have to give her explanation and then gives vent to her frustration. rani says that diya is gutsy, and won't commit suicide. damini threatens to kill her, but she continues to raise her voice and say that diya shall never commit suicide. damini tells rani, that if not by suicide, then by murder, but she would have to die. rani is shocked, and then pleads her not to do anything to diya. she asks rani to shut up, and be here till the marriage is done, and after that she shall be sent to her village. she warns her not to open her mouth. She leaves with sumit’s mother, while rani is upset.

The choreographer team is busy teaching to ishaani and alok, when urmi comes in looking for rani. damini tells urmi that rani went to the village. urmi is surprised. damini says that her mother got serious and hence she had to go. urmi wonders why wasn't she told. damini says that she didnt waant to bother in all the marriage preparations. Urmi is sure that rani won't go anywhere without telling her. damini reminds that rani had come to tell her, but she was busy. urmi asks why didn't she let her speak then. damini says that she didn't want to disturb her, hence she sent her off with money. urmi is still boggled and tensed. To change the topic, damini gets shaurya also to dance. He is irritated. The team gets them all to dance. he asks if diya isn't dancing. Damini says that Diya is upstairs practising dance with sumit.

One of the instructors, teaches dance steps to Diya and Sumit, as its a romantic waltz. As the instructor continues, Sumit says that he needs a short break. The instructor leaves to check on others. Sumit compliments her dancing skills, and she says thanks. Then he gets her close, and says that she looks beautiful. Shaurya passes by just then. Sumit tries to get romantically intimate with diya, while she is at discomfort and expresses it to him. but he asks her to relax, and leans in to kiss her. She looks away, extremely uncomfortable. Shaurya sees this and comes in asking whats he doing. Sumit casually says that he is just romancing his would be wife. shaurya points out to diya that she is the would be wife, and not his wife yet, and asks him to back off aggressively. Diya is tensed at his reaction.

Damini comes in to watch the drama. Diya too tells Sumit that she isn't his wife yet, but then sees Damini, and changes her tone, saying that Sumit is right, as he shall be her husband tomorrow, and hence its perfectly okay, and he is no-one to interfere in their relationship and its understanding. Shaurya is hurt and wonders how can she talk like that, and what about what Sumit was doing. Sumit clarifies and asks what was he doing wrong. But then he tells Shaurya that since his wife supports, he better not interfere. Shaurya eyes him angrily. sumit asks him to leave, and when he doesnt, he asks diya to tell him to leave. she is distraught but does ask him to leave. Damini comes in applauding Diya for the way she stood for her husband, and then asks Shaurya to let Diya spend sometime with her husband if she wants to, and asks him to focus on his dance. She then apologises to Submit, and asks him to spend as much time as he wants to romance his wife. She asks him to budge but he doesnt. she asks him to then care about her resoect if not his. he still doesnt budge. she then asks diya also to get shaurya to go. helpless, she complies. Shaurya is apalled and leaves in a daze. damini eyes him evilly. Diya is upset. Damini thinks that Shaurya left the room, but Diya shall leave the world, and then the world shall see this sham of a marriage, where Diya departs with a bang.

Then the mehendi ritual begins, while all are dancing and making merry, and diya tries to keep up a cheerful face. Inwards she is distraught. Asha asks if the mehendi contains the groom’s name. The lady says that she has already done so, for the groom to find. Damini says that all rituals are happy and merry, except for the vidaai, that shall bring tears in everyone’s eyes, as diya has come so close to them. damini thinks about her evil plan. Diya sits upset. Damini gets a call, and gets to know that the three tickets to europe have been booked, and she asks him to deliver the tickets personally to her only. He complies. Anirudh asks ishaani where’s Shaurya, and she says that he is in the house, but doesnt know where. Diya remembers the way she treated him earlier, and is upset.

On the roof, Shaurya is completely drunk, while Chiku asks him to stop, as he has never drunk this much before. Shaurya says that what happened today was the first time too, and narrates what happened. Chiku says that it's his fault. Shaurya says that his fault is that he loved Diya. Chiku says that indeed it is, and asks him to confess it out to her, as she doesnt even know whats the matter. He says that he tried, but Diya doesnt care to listen. Shaurya asks where should he go, while chiku says that it still isnt late and there’s still time. he says that there’s mehendi going on, and he cant do anything now. he is hurt at the way she treated him, infront of Sumit. Chiku insists him to go and tell diya, as there’s still time, before diya leaves forever. Shaurya says that she can go, as then she might be happy. Shaurya, in his inebriated state, tells Chiku that he loves diya madly, and can't afford to lose her. Chiku is extremely upset and tensed. He screams out incoherently, that he loves diya, oblivious that she is approaching the roof, searching for him only. Chiku says that they all love him, and diya must have had a reason to behave like that. but he says that diya has completely gone mad for Sumit and only sees him, and he isnt able to bear that.


Diya arrives at the roof. shaurya then in his fit of anger and frustration, screams out that he hates diya, from the very core of her heart, her name, her face and everything about her. he says that he should go today only, if not tomorrow, as he has to bear the 24 hours. Diya hears this from a distance and is shocked and appalled.

Diya is deeply hurt and disturbed at what she heard from Shaurya and comes down. Urmi meets her and asks whats the matter as she looks tensed. she doesnt tell. Urmi asks her to come and join the sangeet, and not sit sad and gloomy. she complies. Ishaani dances on an old song, while chiku somehow composes Shaurya and gets him down, while he is still drunk. he wipes off the tears off his face, while Diya eyes him overwhelmed with mixed emotions. He too eyes Diya, extremely sad and hurt inside. Sumit continues to cajole her, while she is uncomfortable as she eyes Shaurya, who is pained too. ishaani engages shaurya too in the dance, and they kiss each other. All clap. Alok says that now it's time for the most awaited performance, of the bride and groom. all cheer with claps.

Sumit extends his hand and Diya accepts it, and joins him on the dance stage. Shaurya claps too tauntingly. But Sumit accidentally sprains his leg hitting on the table, and then apologises that he wont be able to perform the dance now with Diya. they are all tensed. Shaurya hears intently. Damini says that Sumit wont, but diya can. Diya says that she can't alone. Ishaani too says that it's a duet performance, and she needs a partner. Urmi suddenly suggests that Shaurya can be a perfect partner, but he says that he can't, as she is marrying diya. urmi asks him to be a sport and join Diya, as its just a formality, and Sumit is hurt. Shaurys denies. Damini taunts that diya has always been supported by Shaurya, and can't he do this now, for his friend atleast, as Diya shall be gone forever tomorrow, and this is his last chance to enjoy with diya. diya and shaurya both are tensed.

The rest of the family however cheers them on. Finally, owing to parental pressure, Shaurya comments to diya, that this is helplessness, as he has no interest in taking the place of her husband, Sumit. finally, the dance begins on a highly romantic number, wherein Shaurya expresses his love as well as hatred, while diya is in tears. She tries to go, finding it extremely painful, but he holds her back, and then continues to dance. he eyes her mehendi containing her groom’s name, and is hurt. Diya is extremely upset. Shaurya too recluses away, and she tries to hold onto him, but stops herself consciously. he does the same when she turns away. then out of angst, he turns her around, and gets her to continue dancing. all enjoy, particularly Damini. all clap as they finish. Shaurya too claps tauntingly at Diya.

The next morning, Diya prays to the lord, saying that she is very scared and that she does everything for the good, and hence has trust in the goddess, that she means well to her. she says that she is helpless but not her, and she has the trust in her, to show her some sign, some signal, if there’s anything uncertain to the marriage, she needs to be shown a way.

Meanwhile, in her room, Damini get the travel company’s call and asks why weren't the tickets delivered so far. He says that their delivery boy didn't come today, hence they couldn't send. The travel agent says that he has faxed the tickets to her house, and she is shocked, tensed that if the tickets land in anyone else’s hands, she would be in great trouble. Damini asks when he did, and he replies he just sent them. Damini rushes out tensedly, when Ishaani stops her, asking for the fitting. but Damini hastily tells that she shall come later, even though Ishaani insists. Ishaani is hurt, as she rushes off from there rudely. she comes to the home office and to her irritation finds Anirudh working in the laptop, while she thinks that she can anytime get that fax. she asks whats he doing. he says that he is working, so that he can work peacefully in the study room. she tries to distract him, asking him to arrange for the final minute details. she tries desperately to get him out of the room, while he asks what's remaining for finalisation. She says that the tent needs to be looked upon. he asks her to go instead. she continues to romantically and caressingly ask him to go, but he pleads her to go instead as he is extremely busy. He says that he needs to file an IT return, today being the last day. she pretends to be lazying on the sofa, and then stealthily unplugs the fax machine. she says that now he can work for all she cares, as the work has been done. She leaves.

In his room, Shaurya wakes up extremely upset and with a bad hangover. he gets up tensed and worried, and Diya comes in with lemonade wishing him good morning. he is shocked to see her, and merely wishes her back curtly. She gives him the lemonade, for the hangover. he asks why she brought. she says that it's her last day today in this house, and requests her to take it, teary eyed. he gets emotional too. She says that he is very happy, that the girl who gets him shall be lucky, and that she is fortunate too to have found a family in them, as she would have known who are true strangers and family to her. she says that she has understood who truly stood out for her, and she learnt this from him. she says that she is going, but not alone, as he would be there in her determination, her ideas and in her memories.

She wipes her tears. she tells him how they have transformed her from a broken girl to the Diya that she was again. he is in tears, as diya comes to him apologising saying that she has lost all rights to say sorry, but doesnt want to lose the rights to say thanks. she admits that she must have hurt him terribly, by her harsh, stinging words. She thanks him for everything, and that she wishes that whatever he wants in life, he should get. Shaurya is emotional at the irnoy. she says that she is going, and then turns around and leaves. Shaurya looks at her going.
