In her room, diya is highly nervous and tensed, as she sits in front of the goddess. she asks if she wont come to bless her, as a mother’s blessing always counts, and that she shall have to come to give her strength, as wherever she is, power comes itself. A girl starts coming. She goes to Diya, and tells her that her Baraat came, and that it's a big, grand one. Diya smiles. The dupatta of the girl falls on her head by the wind, and she takes it as a sign of the goddess, as the girl runs away from there. In the hall, there’s a buzz about the grand baraat and all rush to the door, to check it out. Damini is shocked and boggled as to how the Baraat came. she turns around and is shocked. She rushes out, and finds a groom coming in on the horse, along with the baraat, while the family greets them happily. she wonders how did it come, as her plan couldn't be ruined, and this can't happen, as there’s definitely some problem. she is determined to find out. she comes inside to find out that Urmi is in the way asking why is she so tense. Damini hastily rushes to go in. But urmi asks her to welcome the guests. Damini refuses asking her to do so. Urmi reminds that she is the elder of the house, and hence its a ritual that she has to do. Urmi reminds her that nothing is more important than the marriage. Damini says that its related to marriage only. she goes inside.
In her room, she wonders how could she face such a betrayal, and starts getting berserk and frustrated as to why the Baraat came. She starts dialling Sumit and his family’s number. She hollers at Sumit, and is shocked when he says that he is already boarding along with the parents. She wonders who is here then. Urmi comes in asking who is it that failed her plan so terribly. Damini eyes her angrily, while Urmi comes in asking who is that, and asks if she actually thought she would be able to pull this evil prank. She asks how could she play a pawn of every relation. Damini waives her off. Urmi asks her to shut up, as Rani told her everything. Damini confronts her, while Urmi asks her to say something. She says that she can't imagine she could kidnap Rani, and asks how could she do this, play with emotions with a paid marriage. She reprimands Damini profusely.
Urmi says that she can't kill diya, as the lord doesn't want that. She says that they take the seven pious circles with the person who is a match made in heaven. Urmi says that she is disgusted at what she did. Damini says that she can stoop far lower and yes she tried to kill Diya, so what, without the slightest hint of regret. Urmi says that she should be ashamed. Damini asks if they are ashamed, Anirudh didnt feel shame when he slapped her, she didn't feel ashamed when she brought a rape victim here. She says that they started questioning her existence. Damini says that she won't let Diya stay here and she would have to stay out of her life and her house. she says that she would have had Urmi thrown out too, had she not contained Ishaan’s child. She says that she should be fortunate, that she is still here.
Urmi asks that she should thank her lord instead. She says that today if she told about what she did, then what about her existence, as Anirudh shall throw her out. Damini asks her to stay in her limits, and she says that she is, but the time is here, when she needs to be reminded of her limits. She warns Damini that she shouldn't do anything wrong as if that happens, then she would forget everything and cross limits of age, relation, respect. Damini says that whatever happens to her isn't important. she says that she wanted to send Diya. she says that she is finally out of her life, as frankly, she can get married to anyone, but be out, and that finally happened what she wanted.
Meanwhile, downstairs, the marriage happens, as the Jaimala is done. Then finally, the pheras, after which the mangalsutra and veremillion is done too. the reporters leave after their media byte. The priest asks the couple to take blessings of the elders. Diya doesn't find sumit’s parents. anirudh asks where are they. Urmi comes down with Damini saying that they arent here, as their son isn't. this shocks everyone. Anirudh asks if not Sumit, then who is it. Diya is extremely nervous and tensed. urmi comes and says that it's shaurya. this shocks everyone, while Chiku is pleased. Diya turns around to find Shaurya having taken off his sehra. All are super shocked and stunned.
Damini tensedly listens as Urmi narrates everything much to their shock. she says that she got a little late in knowing it, as Diya was dressed, and all arrangements were ready, the reporters were thronging the gate, the guests were inside, and hence at that time, she did what she thought was right, and hence she asked Shaurya to step in. Urmi tells about Sumit and his family’s betrayal. She then says that she couldnt have seen Diya being disgraced yet again, and hence saved her Grace. Diya asks how could she risk shaurya’s life for hers, and sacrificed his life for her. Diya asks why did she bind her in this unfortuanet helpless relation, as he doesn't love her, and has to bear her for the rest of his life. Shaurya clarifies that it isn't like that, but Diya emphasises that he doesn't love her, then why did he do this sacrificial favour for her. she says that he shouldn't have married her, as he wanted love and not arranged marriage, as she isnt the type of girl that he wants or likes. He is tensed. She asks why did he do this, so that she is always undert their debt. Urmi says that it's not a favour, but he has married. Diya says that they shouldn't have as it's wrong. Damini evilly thinks its good that Diya also shall fight with Urmi now. Diya asks if she really did any good to anyone, as she isn't this weak, that something like this happens, and she would have broken down. she asks how could she sacrifice her son’s happiness for her happiness. she says that it's wrong, and goes upstairs.
All are shocked and stunned. Shaurya goes after her. Ishaani says that Diya is right, and stands in front of Urmi, saying that she once again proved herself as Mother india, by ruining Shaurya’s life and happiness. she says that they aren't mere puppets that would follow what Urmi says or asks. Urmi tries to explain. Ishaani is beyond reprieve and asks how could she get him married, when he didn't love Diya. Anirudh and Alok ask urmi if she asked Shaurya once before taking this decision. Anirudh asks if she knows what happened with Shaurya in the past, the horrific past that has a tragic tale, as he has seen much pain and torture in his first relationship, and hence doesn't want it in the next relation. Urmi says that it won't happen, as the first girl left him, and he has to move on, which is what she wants. Asha agrees with Urmi. Ishaani says that this doesn't mean Diya was the only girl left. Urmi tries to assure that Shaurya would be happy with Diya, and that in such a situation, their marriage was destined and meant to be. Anirudh says that maybe she is right, as destiny can't be questioned, and wishes and prays that this relation fills their life with happiness. Urmi is tensed.
In her room, diya is crying. Shaurya enters asking what's she sad about, that she couldn't marry Sumit, or that she married Shaurya. He asks if it was all pretense and lies that she loved Sumit. she says that she didn't love sumit, but she doesn't love him either, and more than that, he doesnt love her. He tries to speak, but she waives it off, saying that its a favour, so that she doesn't die of humiliation, but now she would suffocate under his debt. He says that yes she is the one he likes. She doesnt believe it, as it doesn't meet the description of the girl he likes. he says that her liking was also something different, and that was also a failure. Diya says that their marriage is a failure. Shaurya is tensed, while Diya says that relations aren't built like this. he tries to speak, while she says that she won't be able to bear to be with him anymore right now. he asks her to let him speak atleast. but she asks him to get out, saying that she didn't feel this bad, when Karan deserted her. he turns her around, and asks if she compared him to Karan. she says that karan left and showed her the truth, and he held her hand and showed the same. He is devastated and says that she too showed the truth, that he is like Karan. he thanks her dryly and leaves. Diya breaks into tears. She asks the goddess, what exam is she taking of hers, that she gave her life to her, and the lord placed it instead in someone else’s life.
In his room, Shaurya is angry and furious, saying that she neither wants to listen or understand. Urmi comes and eyes him tensedly. She asks if he is angry too. He asks why as she says that all are questioning her. she explains that only dear ones are angry and question, and she too doubts whether her son would be happy, and if her decision was right, as she only did what she felt right at the spur of the moment. She asks him not to believe, that she risked the life of her son, to save diya’s grace and dignity. he holds her hand, and says that it isn't like that. she says that no-one’s happy with her decision, and Diya is a good girl, and if this is happening, then it's good, as she believes that Diya and he shall be happy, but no-one seems to see that. He controls his tears and then wipes hers off, saying that she isn't wrong, and reminds how she had found that his girl in all likeness is Diya. Urmi is shocked at this revelation. He says that he is happy, to have married Diya. Urmi asks if he is saying this to make her happy. He says that he is happily saying it, as he likes her very much, and asks her not to take tension, as all shall be okay, and that he is very happy. He then expresses his reservations about Diya, and then tells her not to take tension about it too, as the relations made by time, should be given time to mature, but he assures that he shall fulfill this relation with all his heart and might. She is proud of him.
Then Urmi comes in Diya’s room, and says that gods meant this marriage to happen. She asks diya that she believes that matches are made in heaven, and sometimes they are right in front of the eyes, and sometimes miles apart. She says that the Lord chooses a life partner for everyone, and he chose Shaurya for her. she says that she knows it was hasty, which led her to a lot of complaints, anger and questions, but assures that she didnt take this decision, to save her life, but to take her fate. She says that she knows Shaurya and diya shall be happy with each other, and asks if she can consider her as a mother. Diya says that she doesnt have any complaints from her, but feels that in managing her life, she broke shaurya’s heart. Urmi says that this next step is required for both of them, and asks her to take one step ahead. she asks Diya to get up. Urmi tells diya that from this day forth, she won't stay here, but with Shaurya. Diya is shocked.
As Shaurya stands listlessly by the window, Urmi gets Diya in his room, and tells that they shall stay in this room together now. Shaurya and Diya awkwardly face each other. Urmi nods to him, and then wishes them good night, and then closes the door on her way out. he eyes her and then looks away, while she too turns away.
In her room, Damini is frustrated that the whole plan is ruined now, and now Urmi knows about her, and is in a situation to threaten her to go out of the house. she gets angry and decides that before she does anything, Damini herself shall have to do seomthing, as Urmi has done enough. she says that she shall take such a revenge that Urmi wouldn't even imagine. She says that urmi has forgotten the evil side of the goddess. evilly thinks that diya can celebrate her wedding night with Shaurya all that she wants, but she shall celebrate her ruins.
Shaurya and diya awkwardly face each other. He comes to her and then hesitates to say something, and asks her not to take tension, as its mere rituals that are being performed by the family. he asks her to take it easy. she says that it mustn't have been easy for him, as it was with her forcibly, as she would have gotten married to sumit anyways, and situation is the same for her, only difference is the life partner. she asks him not to carry any burden or guilt in his heart. She then takes her pillow, and asks him to rest, as he must be tired. he then asks her to sleep on the bed. she says that it's his house and his bed, hence he take the bed, while she sleeps on the sofa. he insists and asks her to listen to her once, requesting her. She
silently complies to his wish and then sits on the bed. he eyes her caringly, but she doesnt see his love and concern. She lies down. While she lies, he says that today or tomorrow, he would make her realise that his marriage is by his wish, and that she isn't his helplessness but his love.
At the breakfast table, the next morning, urmi serves Anirudh tea while he asks if Diya and Shaurya are okay. Urmi complies. Shaurya comes down hesitantly. Alok asks Shaurya if all is okay. he hurriedly complies. Urmi leaves to get coffee, while Shaurya asks where is Diya. Urmi asks if she wasn't in the room. Diya comes from outside, that she is back. Urmi and shaurya ask where had she gone so early in the morning. as all gather, diya comes with papers and says that the way in which the marriage happeneed yesterday, was extremely unfortunate and there’s nothing that could have been done. She says that she can't change it but now she plans to do something about it, and has come up with a solution, to amend what they did wrong, by ending the marriage with shaurya. They are all boggled, but she shocks them by saying, that she plans to free Shaurya from this relation, guilt free, by giving him divorce. Diya shows him the divorce papers, which she has already signed, and its his turn to do the signatures, to free him from this unwanted relation. She says that from her side, the marriage is over. Damini is shocked yet glows in victory.
Shaurya is distraught and asks if she has gone mad, and if this is a joke to her, as they have gotten married, and rituals were performed, and she is a married woman, and asks what she means. He asks if she can reverse the rituals, and asks her not to make it a joke. she says that its indeed a joke, as he has compromised. he asks her to stop it, as it's not, since he likes her. She says that it might have been, but his likeness, his love and the girl he wants is someone else, and what he did is just a favour on her, for which she shall be indebted to him all her life. He asks why would she do him a favour, as he loves her. this shocks everyone including Diya. Diya refuses to believe saying that it's just his sacrifice, and not love, and asks him to stop lying. she asks him to narrate what kind of girl he wanted as he told Asha and what he told Chiku in his inebriated condition. she says that he hates her so much he couldnt tolerate her for 24 hours. he says that he wasnt in his senses. she says that this is variable emotion. She asks him to hate if he does. He says that he loves her, and insists her to believe, while she asks him to stop this, and just accept the papers.
They are tensed while he angrily takes the papers and tears it to pieces, and throws them off in the air. All are shocked. Diya is surprised, as he plainly refuses to give divorce or call off the marriage. Diya gets upset and rushes upstairs to the room. Alok then asks Shaurya if he doesn't love diya, then why is he lying. Ishaani again asks Urmi why she spoiled his life, as earlier he got married, and now he has to lie that he loves her too. he stands up saying that it isn't a lie, but it's the truth. they are tensed. Anirudh comes to him and asks if it's actually the truth. he accepts and says that he loved all along, but realised late but stopped due to Sumit. Urmi consoles him. Alok says that if it's so, then he should make Diya realise his love. he says that he has said, but not anymore, as now his love shall speak. He is determined.
