Sunday March 18 Update on “My Lost Home”

The party scene is shown everybody is happy talking to each other. Mr Khurana says Veer's light is here. Veer walks in to a dark house confused why the lights are off. Suddenly the lights switch on and he is shocked as every body is singing 'Happy anniversary' to him. He thanks everyone for it and his dad tells him to come in. He walks to his dad and takes his blessings from both his parents and says so this is the surprise uncle Harry wanted to tell him but he couldn't'.


Harry tries to tells him that he wanted to say it but Lovely says they would not have been able to see the smile on his face if they told him the surprise. Jyoti asks how did he find the surprise? He says it was totally like a surprise. Mr Khurana ask someone to get Soni as they can't see her. Soni comes along with Mahi. Soni and Veer look at each other and Veer remembers that he wants to see the mata Rani's coin with Soni once again. Lovely says a lovely dialogue and Harry repeats it. Veer looks down as if he is upset while Soni and Mahi walk down nervously.

Mahi wishes them both a happy anniversary and they thanks her. Harry comments that both couple are looking at each other like they are seeing themselves for the first time. Harry tells them to hold each other hands. Veer does it hesitantly but not wanting to. Harry calls them a perfect couple. Lovely tells them that she have a bigger surprise for the couple and asks if she should tell them. Just then, two hosts come on stage named Raja and Sumeda, they say a few words to both the couple that they are the best and are good looking. They sing Hoga Kaun Tumse Pyara song. Raja the host puts their hand in each other but Veer lets go staright away as he did not like it. Sumeda then sings Bahon Ke Marmeein Do Pyaar Mil Rahe Hain song on stage. Durga and Cherry keep looking at the clock to see the time. She gets off the stage to Veer and Soni and make them dance with each other. Soni is upset about how Veer is acting despite knowing that they are celebrating their wedding anniversary. Everybody clap for the couple who are still dancing after the lights have been switched on.

Veer moves Soni's hand away from his shoulder and tells her to give him his gift. He want her to give him the Mataranis coin. She looks at him shocked while Mahi is watching all this. Everybody stops what they are doing and have serious faces on because they see what is happeneing. Veer asks if she don't have it? Cherry gets happy looking at this. Veer tells her if she would have asks for something then he would have given his life for it and he only asks for 1 thing that he gave her. Soni looks down. He says he gave it to her with a lot of trust and asks why didn't she bring it? She has tears in her eyes and is just looking down.


Durga remembers that Cherry had told a guy to come in at 9 on the dot. She looked towards the clock and it read 8:55. She looks towards the door but sees no one. Veers turns around and looks at Mahi. He reminds Soni that she said she have given it to Mahi. Soni looks up to speak but can't say anything. He then says he will just ask Mahi directly. Soni looks towards Mahi who looks down. She turns away and asks Mahi where his Mata Rani coin is? Mahi does not know what to say and Cherry is happily looking at this. Mahi has tears in her eyes and she does not know what to say. Instead of there being joy, Veer again interrogates Mahi if she haven't given it back to Soni'? While Cherry looks at the clock that says 8:55pm.

Mahi walks towards Veer and Soni and holds soni's hand. She calls Veer and Soni's name and then apologize to Soni that she gave it to her with so much trust and she lost it. Veer looks shocked at her. She asks Soni to please forgive her as she gave it to her with so much trust and she lost it. Soni try to says something but Mahi stop her and apologize again. Mr Khurana speaks in between and tells Veer it happens as humans make mistakes and nobody would do it on purpose ? Veer point out that's what he want to know? Mahi is standing there crying. He asks Mahi if she is saying Soni gave her the coin and now she have lost? Mahi is tensed. He asks if she is telling the truth? She looks up and says ' yes brother-in-law. She asks why would she lie? He then asks her to swear on her Shabd. Soni is shocked when he said that and Mahi looked up as well in dilemma.

Veer says if she swear on her Shabd then he will believe that Soni gave her the coin and now she have lost it. Veer admit that his dad is telling the truth and anybody could make a mistake and according to him if she have made a small mistake then she should have no problem swearing on Shabd. Mahi is shocked as she can't stop crying and does not know what to do. Soni is equally in a bad state. He asks Mahi if she will swear on her Shabd or not. She looks up unable to decide as everybody is watching them to see what happens. Cheery is so happy watching the drama. He tells Mahi that he is talking to her and asks if she is going to swear on Shabd or not. She is shocked.


He shouts at her. She jumps back in state of shock. He is angry as Soni is holding Mahi's hand and Veer is pointing a finger at her while talking. Veer again asks Mahi for the coin and asks her to swear on Shabd's that she really lost it and if she does then he will believe her. Veer keeps insisting and Mahi runs away from there crying so much because she did not know what to say. Veer tells Mahi to stop and asks wehere is she going as he is asking her something and when Soni yells at Veer to stop. She goes on to say that she actually did not give the coin to Mahi and so Mahi is not at fault. Mahi turns around hearin this when her sister says she is not her fault. Everybody looks shocked. Mahi looks shocked because she could not do anything for her sister and everbody is just looking at them.

Veer is shocked himself and says that he knew she had not given the coin to Mahi and he wanted to extract the truth from her which is why he had to force Mahi to swear on Shabd. He asks Soni to tell him who she gave the coin to and who is so close to her that she did not care for the coin he had trusted her with. Soni is unable to answer as usual quietly keeps listening to whatever Veer is saying. Durga interrupts them saying the coin is with her as she notices the bouquet guy come in with flowers and gift. She goes close to Veer and Soni and says that the coin is with her and unfolds the coin she has in her palm. She says that she was at fault and it is not Soni's fault because Soni had given her the coin to keep it safely but she had forgot where she had kept it but was able to finally find it in her jewellery box. She tells Veer that her daughter-in-law Soni is not at fault and she just kept listening to all what Veer kept saying and that she never says anything in return.

She apologizes to Soni and Veer and walks away from there. Veer inturn apologizes to Soni and says that he will never doubt her again. Every one seems happy except Cherry who is exchanging glances with Durga. After the party, Soni goes to see Mahi off and they share a sister talk where Soni says that this is a miracle of Mata Rani and also blessings of her mother that she was saved while she didn't know how she had lost the coin. Mahi urges her to tell Veer the truth aboutt her past and tries to take a promise from Soni that she will talk to Veer that night. Soni says that she does not want to promise because she will not be able to tell Veer anything that night because she saw him smiling after a long time and that after listening to the truth he will not be able to bear it. But she promises that she will tell him anyway and will tell him everything from now on.

Mahi says that she trusts her but not her guts. Then Mahi leave saying before Soni's nightmare comes true and their relationship breaks she should tell the truth to Veer. Later in the room, Durga and Jyoti are talking about how she was able to secure a similar coin after looking around so much for it. She tells her daughter that she was able to save Jeet from this today. Cherry walks in to their room and tells Durga should realise that she saved Soni along with Jeet and that wasn't their plan. She was so close to getting Soni to leave the house and that Durga spoilt everything. Durga tells her that she knew what her plan was and she saw her talking to the flower guy and how she had jeet targeted as well.


Cherry acts saying that wasn't really her intention and leaves. Durga says that now she has to keep a close eye on Cherry. Soni comes into the room and thanks Durga for saving her and that she doesn't know where she lost that coin. She becomes sentiments and cries a little bit laying her head on Durga's lap while Durga is sitting on bed and Soni on the floor. Durga thinks that she actually wanted to save her son and not Soni and who will explain that to this fools and that she is unhappy herself that she had to save Soni and that she was saved. She tells soni to go to their room as Veer must be waiting for her.

Soni and Veer's room is decorated with flowers and candles. Soni enters thinking to tell Veer everything. There is hesitation among the two as to who will start speaking first. Finally both of them turn to each other to say something at the same time. Veer tells Soni that she need not say anything as her beautiful eyes spoke everything. A sweet romantic moment is shown between them. Mahi comes home. Her mom is waiting for her,  she enquires about "Soni and the coin". Mahi tells her that everything was okay, then her mom asks her if all the problem was because of Jeet, because Jeet used to love Soni. Mahi is shocked to hear this from the lady. Mahi tells her not to say this infront of anyone.

The next day, the entire Sareen family is having their morning tea. Shabd's uncle then asks Mahi to leave the lady to one good old-age home which was in Amritsar as Shabd would be coming back in two days. Mahi's eyes are filled with tears as she leaves the dining table. Aunt Billo is worried whether if Mahi is serious about the lady.

At the Khurana mansion, Veer is leaving to the office. Soni asks Veer to come home soon. Veer happily reply. Cherry enters and she says that she wants to go to the jewellery shop and asks if Veer could possibly drop her on the way. Both Veer and Cherry leaves.

Mahi's mother asks Mahi to plat her hair. Soni enters and says she will do it. Mahi's mother calls Mahi to stand near her,  but Mahi says she would go and prepare tea for Soni. Mahi's mother reminds Mahi of the *elaichi vaali chai*  Soni is happy that her mother remembers her likes so well. Mahi goes to prepare tea. Soni after sometime tells her mother that she would go and see what Mahi is doing. Outside the kitchen, Mahi is bringing tea for Soni and her mother. Aunt Billo comes and enquires whether if Mahi would be able to console the lady to go to an old age home in two days as the people in charge had agreed to take her in. Soni hears this and she is left in shock.
