The Senate of University of Benin, after an emergency meeting yesterday expelled the Student Union Government's President, Ogbidi Osemudiamen for one academic year, the PRO, Goodnews Ehiabhi for 2 academic years and some other executive members of the Students'Union.
The university's Senate instructed that the Vice President, Frances Okogwu be made Acting president.
According to the information contained in the circular, the Students intended to disrupt the 43rd convocation ceremony of the university.
