Sunday February 25 Update On “Lies Of The Heart” Episode 386-388

At Ishaan’s residence, Tani and Damini are boggled, as to why Samrat cancelled their trip to Goa. Tani fumes while Sandhya taunts Shashi, that Samrat is always wasting money. Shashi counter argues as usual. Just then, a confidential envelope comes for Urmi, and Tani receives it. Shashi badgers Damini to open it, but she says that they respect each others’s privacy. Shashi however is determined to find out, as Raani goes to keep it in Urmi’s room.


At Ishaan’s office, Ishaan and Urmi are tensed, while she wonders how this all will affect Shaurya’s life. Just then, they get the information on Munna’s whereabouts and they rush out.

At the Chawl, Ishaan and Urmi rush to Munna’s place when they finally locate him and try and badger him, with emotional plea, money and even threats for him to reveal who got him to tamper with the reports. But he doesn't budge and maintains it was a wrong judgement error, and closes the door. Both are tensed. Inside, however he gets double the money, by Samrat, seated comfortably, happy that he did exactly as he was told to. He says that he knew Urmi would come here and hence he planned it one step ahead of her all the way along.

At Urmi’s Hotel, Urmi and Ishaan are tensed, as they are at a dead-end once again. They start cancelling names one by one, wherein Urmi is sure that Sandhya and Tani can't be behind this, and that leaves them with just Samrat. Ishaan refuses to think against him, as he thinks a father can't do this. But Urmi however is set to thinking, as she remembers that he had burned their son, for trial in court, and made her abort a child too. She connects the dots together, which also sets Ishaan to thinking, that the way Shaurya’s illness started, caused them to accept the disgusting solution of sleeping with Samrat, it just might be Samrat’s plot all along. Both are thinking.


At Ishaan’s residence, when Samrat returns, Shashi tells him, on the pretext of getting money shamelssly, that a packet named confidential came for Urmi, which she tried to be opened, but Damini didn't let her. He leaves hurriedly. He rushes to Urmi’s room and starts searching the envelope, and finally finds it. Downstairs, Rani tells Ishaan and Urmi about the envelope and they are boggled too, as they proceed towards their room. Samrat opens the envelope and finds his pictures with Kiran, and wonders who took these pictures, and why is he sending this to Urmi. He wonders who is after all this. He is terribly boggled. He begins to eye the pictures, oblivious that Ishaan and Urmi are walking towards the room just then, tensed and discussing the current situation.

Samrat finally turns around to see who has come in. He ducks just in time, when he hears Urmi and Ishaan’s voices in the hallway. They come inside, and Samrat is ducked behind the sofa. Inside, Urmi is unable to find the envelope, and is concerned. Ishaan asks her to find it later, while saying that he is hungry. They both leave to go for dinner. Samrat eyes them going from hiding behind the wardrobe. As they leave, he takes the pictures, and some accidentally fall out from his hand. The sudden noise startles Urmi and she turns around. Samrat is scared and shocked, as he is collecting back the pictures. He again ducks, while Urmi points that she senses someone’s presence, but Ishaan says that she is just hallucinating, and takes her down for dinner. Samrat comes out just then. He takes the pictures, burns it and flushes them, thinking that he had a close shave today.


Downstairs, all are having dinner, while Sandhya walks around with her fairness treatment pack. They ask her to eat, but she denies. Anirudh asks about Samrat, and Tani says that he isn't feeling well, and is resting in the room. The telephone landline rings, and both Samrat, upstairs and Sandhya downstairs pick up at the same time. She starts talking and the person turns out to be James. Samrat is shocked, and starts fumbling, much to James’ plight, when he desires to speak to Urmi. Samrat desperately tries to get Sandhya to turn down the phone, and after much hassle she does. Samrat then asks James how dare he call here and send pictures to Urmi. Samrat’s tone changes, and James gives him a place to meet up with him, so that they can again talk about their arrangement. Samrat hurriedly complies. James disconnect the call. Samrat is highly tensed.

Urmi asks Rani about the envelope and gets to know that she had kept it properly. Urmi is boggled, while Shashi thinks that this is Samrat’s work too, and tries to distract them that maybe Rani didn't keep it correctly. They start discussing how they have been witness to strange things recently in the house. But Urmi is determined to find out what's wrong, and then expose the people and what they are. Shashi is tensed. Sandhya points to Damini, in hushed tones, as to how they might have failed, but Urmi is hell bent and will succedd too to send Samrat out of the house. Damini is amused.

At the Tea stall, Munna overhears a person talking about illegal pharma work on the phone, expressing his frustration as to how he isn't getting the right person to do his illegal job, when he has lots of money to give. Munna barges in and says, after giving his medical history, that he is a master of illegal works involving medicine, and starts glating. He gets the name of a deadly medicine, that isn't given without a doctor’s prescription, and he says okays to arrange it in one hour, and gives his address to the person, to come with cash to take the medicine. He complies.


At the Chawl, just when Munna arranges for the medicine, the person reveals that he is a police officer, and that he is under arrest. Munna is boggled, as he doesn't understand what's going on. Ishaan and Urmi come there and tell him that he is finally exposed. Munna asks what's going on. Ishaan says that he is a crime officer, and had he told them earlier, he wouldn't have had to face all this today. Munna begs them to allow him to leave, as he has left all these work. The officer reprimands him for his big statements, and Munna turns to all of them for an apology. Urmi says that what he did was illegal, but he can save himself. Munna hurriedly asks what can he do. Urmi asks him to tell them who asked him to tamper with Shaurya’s lab reports. Munna asks if he would be left if he tells them. They comply. Munna finally blurts out that it's Samrat. They are shocked as they manage to find out who's trying to harm Shaurya.

Munna tells Ishaan and Urmi that Samrat bribed him. Munna asks them to release him and that he won’t do anything like that ever again. Ishaan and Urmi agree. Ishaan pulls the fake officer aside and pays him for his help. Samrat tells Kiran to meet him.

Ishaan and Urmi see Samrat arguing with a guy on the road and end up following him to the restaurant while Samrat goes to meet Kiran once again but this time Urmi and Ishan overhear his and Kiran entire conversation and find out everything about the hotel night, Kiran, and James and as Samrat’s lies to Kiran.

Outside Ishaan is furious and wants to expose Samrat’s truth to everyone. Urmi stops him saying that it will all be too easy for Samrat to escape from them. She reminds him that Samrat is only being blackmailed by James so that Tani doesn’t find out about his evil deeds. She says that they should let him suffer each day. He will think he is winning but that won’t be true.
