OPINION: A Woman Whose Adulterous Act Was Authorized By Her Husband

By Anayo M. Nwosu

Ukwunnu no longer hides the hints of her promiscuous acts from her husband. The husband has also turned a blind eye after all, marriage for him is not all about sexual fidelity.

Madam Ukwunnu would not wait for the interested men to do the beckoning but would wear provocative dresses that would project her frontal arsenals and backside which point harassingly at men, the way police officers in the East point guns at bus drivers in search of their daily collections.

To be fair to Madam Ukwunnu, who just turned 51 years old, she was not sleeping with men for money but for pleasure. In fact, she blesses any young man who could make her scream the way she did when she was dating Ikedi, her school boyfriend at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Ikedi died in a road accident in his final year but his sexual exploits and the way he pegged, suspended, mined and scooped Ukwunnu made him her unforgettable hero. After him, Ukwunnu tried a couple of relationships but never met any man as patient, energetic, thorough, versatile and romantically idealistic like Ikedi. He was a man who could take Ukwunnu to all the seven continents within an hour before landing.

Like a typical Igbo girl, Miss Ukwunnu needed to marry right and she married Mazi Ojionu.

Ojionu was a rich, suave and a modern man at the time he met Ukwunnu. He was bewitched by woman whose breasts were not only bountifully rounded but were upstanding like Rocha’ statutes in Owerri.

Ojionu too looked very attractive but he’s a short distance runner in bed. He couldn’t even maximize the use of his long, big and well rounded phallus. He would sag at the very time the wife is about to onboard the fantasy boat.

Initially, Ukwunnu got her husband to perform better by getting him to take some performance enhancing drugs and supplements but, his best improvement was just a mere appetizer to a woman who had once experienced the fun side of lovemaking. She kept enduring the low voltage generated by her husband until they were done with children bearing.

One fateful night, Mazi Ojionu had a news for the wife. He had been thinking about it but had to deliver message without further delay.

“Ukwunnu, my darling wife”, he started,” I have been thinking about our sex life, your increasing demand for sex and my seeming inability to satisfy you. You may never know how deflated I feel whenever I see those frustrating looks on your face knowing full well how hard you have worked to get me up to speed.

“My wife, I’m not getting any younger and if I concentrate my entire energy on satisfying you in bed, I may not be alive to train our five children. As things stand now, and with my high blood pressure issues, I need you to understand that I need to slow down”, Mazi Ojionu said.

But he was not yet done.

“My wife find other ways of satisfying your  sexual orgies but must be discrete about it given our position in the church. Think about it. Whatever choice you make, just be mindful that you have a reputation of a wife and a mother to protect,” Ojionu concluded to the surprise of his wife.

Mazi Ojionu’s wife couldn’t believe her ears. “Is this man a mind reader”, she thought. She had long decided to seek external help especially when her sexual libido was in by the day.

Human Physiology teaches that females’ sexual desire and libido increase with age while those of men decrease as they age. That’s why younger men are more preferably to women in need of sex.

With a feeling of a woman with licence, Ukwunnu initially ordered for a dozen of sex toys. Over time, she was to find out that if it is not a man, that it cannot be like a man. She wanted a feel of a manly man or “nwoke na-apu oku”.

That was how Ukwunnu began an unending search for sexual satisfaction. And she gets that from some young men, mostly unemployed ones.

Is this not a case of authorized adultery?

Many women who have found themselves in the shoes of Ukwunnu have decided to operate without licence. Some others have stifled their urges by soaking themselves in other activities in the church or at work.

A few of married but sex-starved women who wish to be helped but don’t know how to go about it, have constituted themselves into jezebels or as joy killers in many work places. They hate young married subordinates and ensure that they work longer hours.

For this group of sex hungry middle aged wives, let everybody suffer too.
