”Today, Nigeria's history books just received another entry!
”Today, hope is reborn, and faith in our electoral system is strengthened, as my brother and very good friend, Sir Victor Umeh (Ohamadike) has successfully distinguished himself and set the ball rolling for our Great party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as it pertains Senatorial elections and representation in the hallowed red chamber.
"This victory, though belated, is a victory for the good people of Anambra Central who have been denied a constituted representation in the National Assembly and indeed a triumph for all lovers of true democracy.
"As a staunch believer in your sagacity, I am certain that your diverse and ample experience will no doubt stand you in good stead as you take up this fresh responsibility.
"While I assure you of my unalloyed support as you take up this mantle, it is my earnest prayer that the good Lord directs you as you identify men and women of goodwill and virtue across board that you can join hands with, in a bid to deliver the dividends of democracy as demanded by your people.
"Once again, congratulations Ohamadike; and congratulations to the good people of Anambra Central.
"Afa Igbo Efuna!"
Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah
