Thursday January 11th Update On “Modern HomeMaker” Episode 68-70

Kanhaiya comes to Sona asking what happened and Suhnaina shows Kanhaiya saying that Udham have been suspended but because of this report by Sona, everything is gone. Sona tries explaining to Kanhaiya and Suhnaina says that there is no point in giving explanations as her name is clearly written on the paper and Suhnaina throws the paper on Sona’s face. Chacha ji says to Suhnaina to have patience and Suhnaina says that her udham’s life is now spoiled because of Sona and Udham leaves in anger and Neelam follows him.

Slowly everyone leaves and Kanhaiya looks at a crying Sona. The headquaters person says that he tried talking to his superior but there have been no response. Sona enters the room calling Udham and Udham stops Sona from entering and asking why did she came for? He asks her to leave and Sona is shocked and is about to walk towards Neelam and Neelam stops Sona and asks her to leave from here . Sona says even you? Neelam says i don’t wish to talk about anything nor thing about anything. I am only worried about him now and this is because of you. Only because of you and Sona is shocked. Neelam asks Sona to leave and refuse to listen to anything Sona says and Sona is sad and turns back to Neelam and leaves the room . Suhnaina is asking what is the way for Udham to be out of this problem? The headquaters person says that the person who wrote this article was none other than your bahu. If she published that the article she wrote about has no proof, them Udham can be proved innocent. Suhnaina goes to Sona and asks her to write an apology that she wrote the article without any proof. Kanhaiya says that Suhnaina is right as everyone in the house is upset because of this. This apology has to be published in the paper the next day. Sona remains silent and Suhnaina asks Sona to go and make sure that this is done within 24 hours or no one in the family will speak to her. Kanhaiya asks Sona to act fast and Sona leaves. Sona is in the office of her editor and he asks how is Sona now and Sona says that she came to speak about her article and the editor keeps getting calls. Sona says that she wants to write an apology article. The editor says that their newspaper is getting publicity because of this article now and Sona explains what happened. The editor says that he will need to speak to his superior and only he will decide but he is currently not in town. He says that he will try speaking to him and Sona asks him to please try his best. Sona returns home.

Sona recalls Suhnaina’s words as she is about to enter the house and she is confident to solve this problem. Sona hears the ice cream man calling Ice Cream and Sona comes in with some Ice Creams and calls everyone. Dimple comes out and thanks Sona for buying it as Bindiya never allowed her to eat ice cream. Everyone comes out and Suhnaina asks if has Sona solved regarding the apology article? Sona says that she have informed as the superior is now in Lucknow and she is confident that the article will be published. Suhnaina says so you are not confirmed that the article will be published right? Till your editor doesn’t comes back, Udham’s work is still at stake? And just to cover this up, you bought ice cream for everyone? Sona says no mummy ji,… i just and Suhnaina says that there is no need to explain and throws the ice cream away. Suhnaina asks if Sona thinks that she can buy them just with the ice cream and are they kids? Suhnaina says that she had given Sona 24 hours and if the article is not published, she will forget that Sona is the bahu of Chaturvedi family.

Suhnaina asks everyone to leave and not talk to Sona till the article is published and Sona is crying. Sona goes and picks up the ice creams. Bindiya is saying to Govardan that Sona bought ice creams just to please them and do he think that the article will be published? Bindiya also taunts that Kanhaiya and Sona used to be romantic but just look at what is happening now. Kanhaiya is in the police station and looking at him serious, his contables tries making jokes to make him laugh but Kanhaiya still remains serious. In the night at Chaturvedi house, there is no electricity and everyone is wondering how to stay at home when its so hot. Sona brings an oil lamp and she almost falls down and Chacha ji asks her to be careful. Everyone is sitting and Sona gives Suhnaina a fan since its warm. Sona fans Suhnaina while Suhnaina says that there is no much time for you left and Sona says that she has trust that all will be fine and the electricity comes back. The house phone rings where Sona’s editor informs that his superior is now willing to publish the apology and everyone is shocked especially Udham. Sona tries pleading but the editor hangs the call. Suhnaina says you said all will be fine, look what happened now.

Sona gets call from her editor where she is informed that the Chief Editor isn’t willing to publish the apology article and Sona tries pleading and the editor hangs up the call while everyone is looking shocked. Sona tries to take away the oil lamp and it falls down and breaks. Suhnaina asks what else is Sona going to do? Sona tries to explain and Suhnaina says enough! You have done everything you could and i have only one request from you. Don’t come before me! Sona looks helpless to everyone and leaves. Sona is sitting in her room sad and crying. Kanhaiya comes and holds Sona by her shoulder and Sona hugs Kanhaiya and Kanhaiya wipes her tears. *Flashback* where Sona explains to Kanhaiya that she wrote the article before her wedding and Kanhaiya says that you did your duty and i myself am not liking what is happening in the house. Let me go and speak to mummy ji that she should not accuse you like this. Sona stops Kanhaiya not to say anything to Suhnaina as she is very angry and she will think that Sona fueled Kanhaiya against Suhnaina. Kanhaiya says so you want me to remain silent? I can’t take any bad things happening and Sona asks Kanhaiya to listen to her and to be by Suhnaina’s side.

Kanhaiya asks then how about you and Sona says i will try to manage the situation and asks Kanhaiya to agree to her which Kanhaiya agrees. The scene in the living hall which Kanhaiya blamed Sona that everything is because of her is also part of Kanhaiya agreeing to Sona. *End of Flashback* Kanhaiya says that he wants to go now and inform everyone that its not Sona’s fault and Sona says that she has lost. In the morning is 24 hours and she is not able to do anything and anytime she tries to do anything good, it ends up bad and Sona cries while Kanhaiya holds her close. In the morning, Sona brings cofee for Suhnaina and Suhnaina folds her bedsheet on her own. Sona tries to help but Suhnaina stares at Sona. Suhnaina takkes a sip of the cofee Sona made and drops it on the bed on purpose and Sona changes the bedsheet and puts for washing. Bindiya takes out the bedsheet and puts her own clothes and Sona tries explaining but Bindiya pretends not to hear. Sona enters the kitchen and sees Neelam where Neelam doesn’t speaks to Sona nor allows her to do any work. Suhnaina comes to Neelam and asks Neelam to wash her bedsheet as some people can’t do their work. Sona tries explaining and Suhnaina leaves. Kanhaiya comes down and sees Sona looking sad and asks her to smile, Sona smiles to Kanhaiya with Tum Ho being played.

Chacha ji reads the newspaper and calls everyone happily to see what is written in the paper. Chacha ji reads an article about the Indian Army where the army officers that have been suspected are innocent and the real culprit to be caught soon. Everyone is happy and Sona receives a phone call from her editor where her editor informs that they could not publish the apology article as their publication name would be at stake but because of Sona, they had written this new article with care and Sona thanks. Sona informs that she always knew that Udham was innocent and Kanhaiya says lets forget what had happened. Suhnaina says that i told you to publish an aplogy article but nothing like that was written here. And where is Udham’s name in this article which says that he is innocent? Sona says please have trust and i don’t have the power in my hand. Suhnaina says that your article made my son lost his job. Now did your new article made him get back his job? How about our family name? My decision remains and no one in this house will speak to you and everyone has to pretend she don’t exist in this house. This is your punishment for your mistake and Kanhaiya looks at Sona. No one seems happy and Suhnaina walks away and everyone starts leaving. Chacha ji whispers to Sona not to worry and all will be fine.

Sona picks up the paper and looks at Kanhaiya. In the room, Kanhaiya is so angry and says enough is enough Sona ji! What else will we do now? Go to the army headquarters and ask them to give back the job??? How could mummy ji decide such thing? Enough! I am going to go and speak about this to mummy ji where Sona is lost in thougts. Sona comes back to her senses and tries to stop Kanhaiya. Kanhaiya shouts to Sona not to stop him and let what happens. Sona says that Kanhaiya to let her solve this instead. Suhnaina sees Kanhaiya and Sona speaking and they both remain silent. Suhnaina comes comes and Kanhaiya pretends to be angry with Sona and Sona smiles to kanhaiya. Kanhaiya sees Suhnaina leaving and Sona thanks Kanhaiya for agreeing to her. Kanhaiya asks what will you do next? Sona says lets see what happens next. Sona is sweeping and the broom hits Govardan when he is leaving the house which Govardan scolds Sona and realizes that he should not speak to her. Sona says to herself that Govardan reacted to her when he was angry. At least they will speak to her when she makes mistake.

Sona goes to Bindiya’s room and sees Darshana together and enters saying that she had ironed Dimple and Chicku’s clothes, is there anything of hers to iron and Bindiya remains silent. Sona says that the socket in her room is faulty and takes the iron and starts ironing on the table in Bindiya’s room while Bindiya and Darshana continues to ignore Sona. Darshana is checking out Bindiya’s cosmetics and Sona talks supporting Bindiya and Darshana asks Sona, you think you know better than me and Sona smiles. Sona purposely leaves leaving the iron on and Bindiya asks Sona to off it before leaving or she would get scolding from Suhnaina instead. Sona says sorry and off the Iron and says that i would not tell Mummy ji that you both talked to me and both Bindiya and Darshana looks at each another. Darshana, Udham and Manohar are sitting at a shop where Sona comes to buy things and greets them where everyone ignores Sona. They are talking about Cricket and Sona gives her comments about the Crickets and Manohar asks what do you know about Cricket and Durgesh supports it. Udham says that reporters like you always don’t cover the exact news right?

Sona smiles and says thank you so much. Even while angry, all of you talked to me and Sona leaves smilling. Sona calls Neelam to bring oil and she gets angry when she sees Sona. Sona smiles and enters the kitchen taking out the oil and starts planning. Sona brings the cooking oil to Suhanina and gives it to her and Suhnaina stares and calls out to Neelam. Neelam arrives and Suhnaina says that what is this Sona trying to prove? Trying to win my heart? Tell her that she has nothing to do with me and leaves in anger. Neelam leaves and Sona accidentally walks by a light lamp and it almost falls and Neelam asks Sona, could you not see and Sona holds Neelam’s hands saying you talked to me and Neelam pulls out her hands. Sona says that no matter what happened, all of you still accept me and that’s why you all get angry with me. Even Mummy ji but her anger is more and i will cool her down. Sona and Kanhaiya are washing the clothes together and laughing where Sona says that everyone scolded me today and at least they talked to me except for Mummy ji. Kanhaiya says don’t worry Sona ji, mummy ji will also talk to you soon and Sona sees Suhnaina standing behind Kanhaiya and keeps quiet.

Kanhaiya pretends to get angry with Sona and leaves. In the night, Dimple asks Suhnaina permission to watch the TV and Suhnaina scolds her that no one will be watching the TV. Suhnaina sees Indira Devi, her friend on the frontpage of the newspaper. Udham asks how do Suhnaina knows her as she is a very famous industrialist and Suhnaina says that she is Indhu for me and she is my childhood friend. We studied together and she went to Delhi for studies. Udham says then Indrani Devi can help me since she knows many ministers in Delhi. Udham asks Suhnaina to speak to Indrani Devi and Suhnaina says that she will surely do it the next day. Sona comes asking if she can follow them along? Sona says that she knows Indrani Devi since she had interviewed her before and she will eb able to explain the situation. Kanhaiya comes saying that he is still angry with Sona but Sona is right and she sholuld go. Durgesh says that Suhnaina is still angry with Sona, how will they both go together?

Chacha ji says that Dimple can go along and Kanhaiya smiles to Sona. The next day, Sona makes Dimple sit inside and Suhnaina comes to sit next to Sona and Suhnaina makes noise asking Dimple to get up and sit in between. Suhnaina stops to buy some sweets that Indira likes and Suhnaina asks Dimple to ask Sona to pay and she will return it back at home. Sona says mummy ji, even after all this years.. you still remember what your friend likes. If i was you, i don’t think i can remember this. Suhnaina remains silent. They reach at a hotel where Suhnaina sees Indira coming out and Suhnaina calls her Indu and goes hugging her. Indira looks at Suhnaina asking what she is staring at and Suhnaina gives the sweets. Indira throws saying that she don’t eat oily food and she don’t know Suhnaina. Suhnaina tries explaining. Indira says that she don’t know Suhnaina and recognizes Sona as the reporter. Sona says that she is no more a reporter now and she is a housewife. She is the bahu of Suhnaina and Indira says that your future was very bright but you are now a housewife? Many womens makes this mistake and Sona says how you know that this is a mistake? I don’t wish to argue on who is better between a housewife and a working wife. Sona tries supporting Suhnaina and Indira just looks
