This Week Summary On Lies Of The Heart: January 29 2018 to 2nd February 2018

Ishaan's haldi ceremony kick starts. Ishaan calls his sister Taani up and tells her that he wants her present in his marriage. Taani tells Ishaan that Rati is there to make up for her absence. Taani asks Ishaan to promise her that he would accept her gift. On the other hand, seeing the marriage rituals go wrong, Damini tells her sister-in-law that it is not right to disobey the traditional rituals. After a while, Ishaan walks up to his mother Damini and asks her the reason behind her woes.

As Ishaan and Urmi's sangeet ceremony begins, Ishaan's sister-in-law pulls her entire family members to the dance floor. After a while, Ishaan arrives at the spot and all the women ask her to leave. Ishaan asks Urmi's family members to refer him as 'jijaji'. He further decides not to leave and stay by his to-be-wife Urmi's side. Ishaan brings a gift for Urmi and hands it over to her. Ishaan asks Urmi not to thank her and requests her to wear the 'Jhumke'

Ishaan's brother tells him that Urmi is a characterless girl and advises him to leave her. This statement irks Ishaan and he slaps his brother. Ishaan further tells his brother that he trusts Urmi and would marry her at any cost. Sundar's parents protest against their son's insult and threaten to leave the house. Ishaan's father supports him and tells Sundar's parents that they can also leave if they support their son. Unable to bare the insult caused by his own relatives, Sundar leaves the house along with his parents. Later Ishaan walks up to Urmi and assures her of his presence forever.

Ishaan's grandmother instructs her family members to get going with the marriage rituals. Ishaan tells his brothers not to lift him during the 'jaimala' ritual and decides to bow down in front of Urmi. Ishaan's aunt taunts Urmi and tells Ishaan that he can lie down even if he wants to do so. Ishaan chooses not to listen to anybody and tells his aunt that he is very fortunate that Urmi gave him a chance to marry her.

Ishaan's aunt tells Damini that they cannot change Urmi and Ishaan's fate and adds that they are made for each other. Damini watches all the marriage rituals from a distance and fumes in anger. As the marriage rituals proceed, Samrat enters and shocks everybody present there. Seeing Samrat entering, Ishaan gets flabbergasted. Samrat congratulates Ishaan and Urmi for their marriage. The security guards try to throw Samrat out of the 'mandap', but he asks the security guards to move away.

Urmi's elder brother Gaurav tells Taani that Samrat is using her and would surely cheat her in the coming times. Samrat stops Gaurav and tells him that if Urmi can marry someone else then he too has the right to do the same. Samrat further tells Gaurav that he would not be able to stop him from loving Taani and being with her. Seeing all the useless chaos being created, Urmi urges her parents to leave. Ishaan apologizes for Taani's behavior and promises to take charge of everything.

The people at home express their anxiety that Samrat's plan has been fulfilled just as he wished. On the other hand, Ishaan tells Urmi that he knows that she is not ready for her new relationship and he would give her the time that she requires to bond with him. He tells Urmi that for now they are friends and they would remain friends until she gets comfortable with him. Urmi asks Ishaan that why is he so good that he always cares about her family. Ishaan replies to Urmi saying because he loves her. Ishaan tells Urmi that it's late and they should sleep now. Just when Urmi and Ishaan reach their room they find all the jewellery and documents missing.

Urmi tells Samrat that he should stop his nonsense and should get out of her room as soon as possible. Samrat tells Urmi that he is in the house to stay for a longer time and tells Urmi that she would be the one to leave. Urmi tells Samrat that Taani's family would throw him out of the house very soon. After a while, Urmi's 'muuh dikhaayi ceremony starts and the guests applaud her beauty. Ishaan's aunt tells the guest that it is his nephew who selected Urmi to be his wife.

As soon as Samrat enters the house, Urmi leaps towards him and grabs his collar. Urmi asks Samrat about their son Shaurya. Samrat denies any knowledge about Shaurya and tells Taani's family members that he went to fetch a cake for his spouse. Taani intervenes and tells Urmi that she would not tolerate Samrat's insult. Urmi tries to convince Taani and tells her that Samrat abducted Shaurya and took him to a swimming pool nearby. Seeing Urmi get out of control, Ishaan tells Urmi that Shaurya is safe and secure.

Samrat looks towards an helpless Urmi and pledges to make her life hell. Damini decides that Taani and Samrat's reception ceremony would be planned with Ishaan and Aarushi's reception ceremony. Ishaan's father reacts to it and tells Damini that Taani and Samrat's reception party would leave them insulted. Taani gets angry listening to it and tells her father that she and Samrat too deserve a reception bash.

Samrat forces the photographers to click his photo with Ishaan. Taani tells Samrat that she is thirsty and wants a glass of juice to drink. After a while, the waiter comes with another glass of juice and offers it to Urmi. Samrat taunts Urmi and tells the waiter that ishaan is missing and Urmi gets tensed and does not drink the juice that is being served. After a while Ishaan's guruji graces the reception and Ishaan's father asks him to make himself comfortable.

Urmi wakes up and Ishaan tells her not to panic. Urmi recalls the incident when Samrat had taunted her and she was forced to gulp down the juice. Meanwhile, Samrat asks Damini if she is fine or not. Damini tells Samrat that she is perfectly fine and hence he should not be worried. Samrat senses the scenario and tells Damini that he is really ashamed to Urmi's actions. He further adds that he thought that Urmi might have changed in the course of six years. Sandhya sees Samrat and Damini speaking to each other and decides to hear to their conversation.

Urmi prepares 'Halwa' for the entire family. She gets praised by her father in law who in turn gives her a gift. One after the other the people present their offer their gifts to Urmi. Seeing the table turn against him, Samrat gets furious and is in stuck in confusion as he thought that he had mixed salt in the 'halwa' that Urmi had prepared. Samrat rushes to the kitchen and checks whether was it salt that he had mixed in the 'halwa'. The salt tastes sweet when Samrat tastes and says how could salt be sweet? . Just then Urmi speaks up saying that she had already changed the boxes of sugar and salt as she already doubted that he would certainly play his bad act in her role of preparing 'halwa'. Urmi warns Samrat saying him that his bad times have started and should think about that

Urmi is seen performing some rituals to for Samrat's wife but Samrat is devising a plan to make the rituals a flop. He acts and falls on the sofa pretending to be unconscious. The people at house get shocked, they try to wake Samrat up by sprinkling water on his face but a stubborn Samrat is not ready to wake up. Urmi gestures Ishaan to wake Samrat up. Ishaan shouts saying that there is a lizard on Samrat and it's crawling on him. Samrat wakes up and shouts, he starts searching for the lizard but doesn't find it. Everybody conclude that Samrat was actually acting.

Urmi tells Ishaan that it is very sweet of him to give her so much space. Ishaan asks Urmi not thank him and tells her that Shaurya might be waiting for her. Accidentally, Damini hears the entire thing. Damini makes a wrong impression in her mind and thinks that Urmi tricked her son Ishaan. Damini decides to unveil the truth in front of everybody. Damini's sister-in-law gets to know the entire thing and tells Damini that Urmi is controlling Ishaan and taking advantage of Ishaan's innocence.
