The speaker of Anambra state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Rita Maduagwu led friends,well-wishers and APGA faithfuls on Sunday, January 7th 2018 for a thanksgiving service to celebrate the recent election in the state which was a landslide victory for governor Willie Obiano.
The speaker who attributed the victory to God's grace and hardwork of party members thanked them for their tremendous support and trust in the party.
Speaking at the event, APGA chieftain, Alhaji. (Dr.) Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi (Wamban Shinkafi) who was recently conferred with a new chieftaincy title as "Enyi Ora 1" of Aguleri by His Royal Highness Eze C. N. Idigo IV, urged the masses to ensure that Rt. Hon. Maduagwu returns to the state assembly to continue her good works with the governor.
He further showered praises on the speaker as one of the most sincere and non corrupt politician he has ever met.
Wamban Shinkafi was accompanied by his wife, Hajiya Hindatu Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi (Kilishin Kayaye), Deputy APGA National Youth Leader Hon. Kabir as well as Sons, Daughters, Relatives and Friends.

Also speaking, the transition committee chairman of Nnewi South LGA, Hon. Engr Felix Odimegwu (Omus) said the victory recorded by the governor in Anambra state shows that he's widely accepted.
He therefore encouraged other party members to continue with their good works as the Governor is going to complete all the projects in the region.
Prospective Senator Victor Umeh who was also at the event commended the people for their support and votes for the APGA party especially in the last governorship election in the state.
Speaking to the non- indigenes organization, Chief Umeh stated that the APGA ideologies and movement is not only for Anambra but to be replicated to other states in the South East and beyond urging them to endeavour to extend the APGA good news to their various communities and states as operation take over South East begins.
