Zee-World: Tuesday December 26 Update On “Modern Homemaker” Episode 34 - 35

Laxmi is wiping some things in the house and Laxmi almost pushes down a vase and Sona catches it in time and asks her to be careful. Laxmi assured her that nothing will break and continue sweeping and again almost pushes down a bigger vase. Sona catches it and asks her not to break anything or she would need to answer her mother in-law Sunaina.

As the maid at the Chaturvedis create a disaster at their residence by accidently destroying various belongings of the house while wiping the table, she breaks a flower pot which Chicku sees and list it in the Damage list. Laxmi is about to leave and she takes her handbag and opens the fridge to steal some things but Sona comes in time. Seeing Sona, Laxmi pretends to be normal. Sona checks Laxmi's handbag and Laxmi immediately leaves. Chacha asks Neelam why she looks tensed? Neelam says his kurta, is dirty and have colors on it now. Chacha tells her not to worry as the stain will surely go off. Neelam says almost all the clothes in the house are dirty now and she feel that all these problems is only after having the maid. Chicku says they can get rid of the maid in one more day and Neelam asks Chicku not to get involved in all this as they will take care of all this by themselves. Chacha tells Chicku to ensure that the list he prepared is 100% correct and Chicku tells him not to worry about that and leaves. Neelam point out that there is a new problem arising daily and Chacha tells a story from the Mahabarat asking Neelam not to worry.

The next morning, while Laxmi is cleaning the house, she wakes Julie up and continues cleaning the house. Laxmi is busy messaging while cleaning, Chacha comes there and Laxmi then complain to him to see how dirty all this things is and leaves. Laxmi puts the clothes for washing and breaks another container which Sunaina sees and warns the maid to get hold of her responsibility. Sunaina asks Laxmi why all the dry fruits she kept in her room went missing? Laxmi point out that there are so many other people in the house, and suggests her to ask them instead of asking her. Laxmi puts the clothes for drying. Darshana comes to the kitchen and sees Laxmi tasting the tea. Darshana asks what is she drinking all alone? She order her to get her a cup of tea too and Laxmi makes a glass of tea. Darshana spits it out as it doesn't tastes good. Laxmi breaks yet another glass while wiping the dishes, Chicku sees it and notes it down in the Damage list. While Laxmi is mixing the flour, Sona comes asking why Laxmi is mixing the flour without washing her hands? She then instruct her to go and wash her hands now. Darshana tells Neelam that a housewife and maid are same. When the maid is not doing the work properly, she ( Neelam ) need to do it.

The next day, Lakshmi, the Chaturvedi family’s help, comes in the house and asks Sunaina for help, claims that her son is sick and that she needs advance as her child is not feeling well and she needs advance to admit her child at a private clinic. Sunaina refuses the maid after the maid asks for the money in advance, for her son's treatment and says that her child keep getting sick everytime and to give her child all the things that she steal from this house and also adds that is why her child fell sick. Laxmi reminds her that she is also a mother, and asks if she don't pity her? Sunaina, who refuses to be taken for a ride says not all all and leaves. Laxmi also says she will only come to work if her child is feeling well. Later, Laxmi is looking after her son who is not feeling well at home and her drunk husband comes in. He tries to steal money from Laxmi but she and her daughter fight with her drunk's husband not to take the money as it's kept to buy medicines for her son and her husband leaves. Laxmi cries asking from where will she get money to buy medicines for Munna?

Meanwhile, Sona is asking around where Laxmi's house is and knocks on her house door. Sona comes in with Dimple and Laxmi's daughter welcomes them. Sona sees Munna and asks how is him, Laxmi's daughter inform her that her mother had gone to buy medicines for Munna and asks if she had bring something to eat and also some money, to give it to her mother once she returns home. Sona lends some money to the maid's daughter while Sunaina is at home looking for her purse and wonders where she kept it. She suspects the maid robs some cash from her closet. Sunaina calls out for Laxmi and Neelam asks what happened? She inform her that Laxmi just left itself. Sunaina tells her that she left with her purse and it had some money in it. Sona walks in asking what happened. Sunaina tells her that Laxmi had stolen her purse. Sona says she would not have done it and tried to explain her mother-in-law that she must have left it somewhere else. Sunaina then says that no one dares touch her purse in the house. Sona then tells her not to say like that without any prove. Sunaina says in two days, they both are supporting her? Sunaina then calls Kanhaiya back home asking him to come home as there has been a theft in the house. Kanhaiya comes back asking where the thieve is? Sunaina says that Laxmi had stole her purse. He asks his mother dearest not to worry. Sona is about to say something and Kanhaiya shows his hands to stop her while Suhnaina says that all this is because of Sona.

Sunaina asks Kanhaiya to search for Laxmi and bring her home and also blames Kanhaiya that he had brought Laxmi home as their maid. Kanhaiya explain that the maid worked in other houses but never got any complaints. As per his mother’s orders he leaves for Laxmi’s home. Sona asks Sunaina not to call Laxmi the culprit before knowing the truth. Everyone from office returns and is shocked to know the news. Laxmi is worried for the ill health of her son and plans to go to a private hospital to request the doctors to treat her child. Kanhaiya witnesses the ailing condition of the maid's son at her house but doesn’t tells her about the stolen money issue. Laxmi asks Kanhaiya to look at her son’s health and to know that she was not lying. At Chaturvedi's Sunaina is making an issue and asks Neelam and sona as what had happened to them that they are praising Laxmi everytime. Kanhaiya takes Laxmi and her son to doctor, the doctor gives them some medicines and they return back to Laxmi’s home where Kanhaiya then calmly asks Laxmi to come home with him. At home, he further presents the Maid in front of his mother dearest Sunaina Devi. Sunaina scolds Laxmi for stealing but Laxmi deny that she is not a theif and also point out that thiefs never do the work everyday everytime but run taking the money. Sunaina says that she takes everything from house, the dry fruits, vegetables everything so she can also dare to steal money. Sona asks her mother-in-law to first let the maid speak from her side but Sunaina asks not to support Laxmi. Sona agree that Laxmi has taken items from house but that does not mean that she is a theif.

Seeing Sunaina Devi bashes the maid, Gyaneshwar interrupts considering the theft to be Sunaina Devi's negligence that his sister-in-law Sunaina has a bad habit to forget her purse everytime and inform her that she left it last time on the sofa. Sunaina has nothing to say then she tells Laxmi that she can continue with the work because she only blamed her, not hanged or punished her. Hearing Laxmi emotionally says that she will leave the work from now and she can not even work if Sunaina pays her 50,000 Rupees because her self respect is hurt and adds that maids are treated like maids only and that is why they can’t work like home in such families and praises Sona. Laxmi  further says that Sunaina is lucky to have a daughter-in-law like Sona who is understanding and a helper by all means and tells Sona that she is leaving work but her relation with Sona has not ended and she will come to meet her always. Sona greets Laxmi and she leaves. As the maid leaves the job at the Chaturvedis, Sona tells Sunaina that if maids are treated good then they give their best in household works to their respective houses and they also have their own families and house and should be respected for their work. Sona continuos to say that truth is that Laxmi has left the house now so again, she announces herself and Neelam to proceed with their duties of being the housewives to the family. Sunaina again thinks to do something and also worries that Neelam has also changed following Sona everytime.

Inside the room Kanhaiya helps Sona fold her dry sarees and in between asks cutely as to how long the scene between his mother and her will take place. He further says that it's now days that their marraige take place but still their love is missing. Sona understands Kanhaiya’s words that he is talking to consummate their marriage and asks him if she has done any mistake and hurt his feelings. Kanhaiya asks Sona to keep the housework on one side and only think about them, just then his phone rings and he leaves for police station saying that he will explain after he returns back. Laxmi is smiling to comes home and wanted to return back the money to Sona and asks Neelam to give it to Sona. Neelam tells Laxmi to keep the money with her as Sona haven't done any favour to her but being a housewife has helped another housewife in trouble. The maid quietly tells Neelam that people call their house as Rangeeli and informs Neelam about Julie's notorious habits of wooing guys and that she and boys roam here and there out of the house and point out that Julie is the one to be looked after and handled.

Neelam asks Laxmi if she is sure about what she is saying. Laxmi says yes and that if it was someone else, she would not have been involved but both her ( Neelam ) and Sona have given her so much of care and that is why she is saying this to her. She then mention that the other house she is working in, have a son and she have seen so many pictures of Julie in the son’s computer and asks Neelam if this is not wrong?. She plead with Neelam to look into this so that she doesn’t gets into any problems. Neelam says this is certainly a problem and Laxmi also informs her that she have seen Julie talking to a few guys and asks Neelam to forgive her if she had said anything wrong and Laxmi leaves. Neelam thinks that she needs to warn Julie about this. Later in the night, Neelam catches Julie red handed while Julie interacts with her friend on the phone talking about a guy who is in love with her and Julie hangs the phone and sees Neelam. Julie is shocked to see Neelam and Neelam asks who she was talking to? Julie replied that she was just talking to a friend. Neelam calmly advices Julie to refrain her actions of wooing guys and that she just wants to ask Julie to stop what she is doing now as it could lead the family in a problem one day. Julie asks if she can listen to her and proudly says she is a grown up girl which knows what is right or wrong. She will not let a guy lead her life and she hope Neelam understand that. Neelam says that a girl will firstly need to take care of the family’s name and no one should be hurt by her acts where Neelam holds Julie’s hands and an upset Julie removes Neelam’s hands asking her not to try being her mother or teacher and that she don’t need all this. Just then, Julie receives a call and leaves. The next morning in the police station, Kanhaiya is hitting a guy for hitting a girl and the guy answers back to Kanhaiya to leave him. Kanhaiyya is angry and asks his constable to lock the guy inside.
