I have been finding it difficult to convince my christian friends that Lucifer has the leasehold or right of occupancy of the earth and its allure.
The allure includes, wealth and other earthly riches.
Lucifer didn’t get the right over the world so easily. He fought for it. He earned it. God gave it to him.
Before he descended to occupy the earth, Lucifer was the leader of all the angels in heaven; he was higher in rank than Archangel, Raphael, Gabriel and Michael. He let himself to be consumed by envy.
Unlike his mates, Lucifer was the most beautiful of all God’s creatures as he was made not from dust or sand but from a gemstone known as lapis lazuli. He was also called the Angel of Light before his great fall.
He challenged God his master.
Lucifer otherwise known as Satan or the Devil, was no longer content with playing second fiddle. He made it clear to the God Almighty that he was not prepared to serve or worship Him again.
In a demonstration of his mettle and immense power, Lucifer divided the army of God into two, taking one to fight God.
He was defeated and was cast down to the earth. He descend with his army of angels now regarded as demons.
In Matthew 4:9, Satan was recorded as he was promising to give his earthly inheritance to Jesus if only Jesus worshipped him.
Satan has kept tightly to his earthly inheritance as was captioned in Job 1:7 where in a conversation, God asked him: "Where have you come from?" Satan answered the LORD, "I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that's going on."
Jesus didn’t doubt the ownership of the earth as he was present in the beginning when Lucifer was given the certificate of occupancy by God.
Clearly and unambiguously, Jesus emphasized that the kingdom of the world belonged not to him, when Pilate asked him if he was a King.
In John 18:36, Jesus maintained that "My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I wouldn't be delivered to the Jews. But now my Kingdom is not from here."
Undeniably, God still trumps all his creatures including Satan.
The Psalms 24:1 says that “the earth is the LORD's, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him”. Yes, but God had ceded the earth to Lucifer on lease.
It is evident that many people who are devoted to unconscionable and unbridled pursuit and acquisition of earthly things are associates of Devil, some men of God inclusive.
I know that those political godfathers who exercise political powers by instituting electoral candidates and ensuring that they win, derive their powers from their master Lucifer.
You can find most of the satanic power manipulators in the south western and northern Nigeria. The ones in the earthen Nigeria are local demons by rank.
Satanic kingdom is like a big corporation with many key distributors with bigger than life powers.
Some of the huge satanic agents are very well known to Nigerians. They broker power to become president, governor or any other political position. They can also make a poor man rich overnight.
If you passionately desire to be mega wealthy or to attain sweeping political powers, you may need to worship Satan. Ambition in men make them damn the costs.
Once Satan has delivered wealth, fame or power to his customer, he would demand for his payment. The customer must choose between “ira Mbajiaku” or “ikwu udor”. Devil needs as many people as possible to share in his eternal misery.
Lucifer has made many people great in this world to their eternal damnation.
My religion tells me that there shall one day come, the The Day of The Lord, when Lucifer shall be dispossessed of all his earthly inheritance and his dominion and powers shall return to their original source.
Till then, the Devil runs his show with periodic boundaries set by God himself.
