[PHOTOS] Tragedy Averted as Truck Crushes Police Van in Ukpor

What could've thrown the Ukpor community into mourning earlier today  was miraculously prevented when a truck rammed into a police van at a newly set-up security checkpoint.

The incident occurred at Amadim, close to Zion Mortuary Ukpor.

According to an eyewitness, the truck, fully loaded with sand, lost control due to brake failure while heading to Afor Ukpor market.

Miraculously, a policeman who was inside the vehicle was able to jump out before the van was crushed beyond repair.

Nobody was injured and no life was lost.
