"Wailing wailer" is a term used in referring to a political sour loser. It has come to stay in Nigeria political space. Ushered in immediately after 2015 General election for those of us that mourned the monumental defeat of Goodluck Jonathan in Presidential Poll.
The November 18 Anambra Gubernatorial election has come and gone but, not without separating "winners from losers"
More of a "zero sum game" where the winner emerged on the strength of the loss of oppossion. In a zero-sum game, you can only win if your opponent loses (PDP loses, APGA win).
In recent time, Mr. Obi's camp has continued to accuse "Ifeanyi Ubah" as an arrow head of those who motley initiated a gang-up to check mate Mr. Obi's political ascendancy which ended up costing PDP victory in the just concluded poll.
There were no conspirancy, therefore, November 18 was neither an opportunity for conspirators to show their hands nor to dance naked in public as mr writer whom I would refer to as a "wailer" postulated.
Mr. Obi totally forgot that Anambra is bigger than one man, that, no one man can tend to either reduce or cage Anambra politically. He ignored the fact that although he's been celebrated by outsiders as Mr writer stated based on his legacies after eight (8) years in government house that Republican Ndi-Anambra has rejected politics of godfatherism, imposition and impunity which he, Mr Obi preached against.
In Anambra, politics is played in grassroot and not on facebook.
To Mr writer if you are ever sincere, you'd agree with me that Mr. Peter Obi was a gang-up against himself. I was involved in pre-PDP primary election, Dr Ubah's effort wasn't to be given PDP ticket to run as the Gubernatorial candidate, rather, his effort was for a level playing ground for all the PDP gubernatorial aspirants~ "free and fair election"
His efforts to get the attention of NWC, NEC and State TC for a free and fair election were blocked. At the end, PDP under Peter Obi imposed Oseloka H. Obaze, an alien to PDP.
Dr Ubah's reaction after the August 28 was normal as a major stakeholder who felt been betrayed. We can't continue to crucify "Ifeanyi Ubah" rather let's for once agree that Mr. Obi's action was a third term governorship, if not, he should have allowed PDP delegates to chose who should have represented the party as all the eight (8) aspirants were all qualified to run excluding Mr. Obaze
Aggrieved members and stakeholders actions were enough to prove that Mr. Oseloka was another Mr. Obi in a mould. Anambra doesn't need another Mr. Obi, a man for eight long years, adamantly resisted any attempt to conduct the local government election. It suited his desire to corner and sit on the state's treasury. His, was a one man government of procurement and contract. One man government who for eight long years couldn't point of any capital project done in Anambra, no employment was given to Ndi-Anambra, rather, he choses inferior road projects in Anambra.
APGA winning was benefiting, a prophecy long seen by "Ifeanyi Ubah" who's now home with his "Afa Igbo Efuna" political ideology in "APGA" makana na Nkea Bu Nkeanyi.
Dear Mr. Wailers, it's high time you all wake up and move away from the monumental loss your camp suffered in the just concluded Anambra poll for no one wins an election without "political human structure on ground" Neither Mr. Obi nor Mr. Obaze was able to win election in their polling units, wards or local governments. The 21/21 is evidently that Mr. Obi have no political weight not even in the central but in Anaocha after his 8 years in Amawbia Lodge.
