On Innocent Chukwuma (INNOSON), Gtbank, And Cretinous Leadership, By Ugonna Emechebe

Innocent Chukwuma is a relative of mine. I have refrained from speaking because I needed to convince myself that anything I had to say was not solely on that premise.

However, I am clear now that I speak as a very concerned Nigerian and so I will put all thrusters on go.

If it is true that GTBank stole over #700 million in illegal charges from Innoson Motors and after the MD took them to court and won several times they resorted to arresting him using the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission then it's about time that bank was shut down and all those in the Federal Government tendered their resignation.

In a sane society all stops would be removed to ensure local content is encouraged. The likes of Dangote, Innoson and other indigenous companies will be aided by the central government in no small measure.
If Richard Branson and Strive Masiyiwa have sordid tales to tell of the business climate in Nigeria and have thus relocated because of the unbelievable and incredulous self affliction of Nigerian politicians and civil servants who demand bribes to better the lot of their own people that is already bad enough; but if it is true as alleged that GTBank stole from Innoson Group and still used a crime regulatory/security agency to hound and harass him then those culpable from the Presidency through the Ministry of Trade and Investment, the Chambers of Commerce and Industry up till the head of the EFCC should be relieved of their positions and tried.

The first three groups for criminal negligence, extreme callousness and morbid irresponsibility and cluelessness, and the EFCC for criminal conspiracy.

You do such rubbish to your own citizens who create jobs and assist in no small way to help attain industrialisation and also help you achieve MDGs that will help you look less of a clown than you already do in the comity of nations, and you treat such people like this?

What do you jesters want him to do, relocate his business to Ghana like many others have done already?

For how much longer will you put your finger on the self-destruct button?

If I had not changed I would have said "may thunder fire all the people who are making such nonsense happen...them and their enablers"
But because I have changed I won't say that openly here although I am wishing it privately.

When will Nigeria have leaders that care for the people they lead and also have something akin to vision and commonsense?
With this sort of Willy Willy and Aluwe cast of comedians in power at all levels when are we going to become anything other than a joke?

At this rate this green passport makes me wonder. I would rather be any other kind of stock (even chicken stock) instead of a laughing stock.
