Monday December 25 Update On “Lies Of The Heart” Episode 240 - 241

At Sushma’s residence, Samrat angrily walks upto them, and forcible snatches Shaurya away from her. She desperately tries to cling on to him. He jerks her away and throws her on the ground, hitting her in the stomach. Sushma starts reprimanding him, and he shuts them both too.

Urmi clutches at her stomach. Samrat says that his tolerance is over now, as he tried to get her back, but says that today he breaks off all ties, and adds that she can die for all he cares, but his son will stay with him only. Shaurya tries to get free from his dad’s grasp, but Samrat gags him, by keeping a hand on his mouth. Urmi asks what's this nonsense and asks him to stop. Samrat argues with Urmi saying that now even if she begs for him to take her back, he won't even give it a second thought. He says that Shaurya is his son, and if she wanted him, she should have agreed to be his wife, but now that she doesn't, he would have to think again. He further says that now that way is under consideration too. He storms ahead forces Shaurya to come along with him. Urmi is shocked. As samrat forcibly carries Shaurya in his arms, while he cries vehemently, and is about to step in his car, he is shocked, to find himself being hollered at by Urmi call his full name as Samrat Singh Rathod. He turns around tensedly, as Urmi comes upto him. Sushma and her husband are tensed too. Urmi asks him to listen carefully, that she is no more living in his shadows and his name, that she will never attach her name with his name from now on and that she won't at any cost, be associated with his name ever again. She says that Shaurya maybe his son too, but he is her life, and she won't let that be given to any other person, at any cost. All are shocked at her agitation. She challenges him that she will take Shaurya back from him and that she would see to it, that her son belongs and remains to her. She says that his hollow life apart, she would see to it that his life is ruined. She adds that he tried the limits of her patience, but not anymore, and that he considered himself a great man, and she a helpless woman, but now she will understand the ferocity of a woman, and she will do this too, and she would see to it that she has her son, and he is ruined. He smiles at her sarcastically, saying that if it's a challenge, then he accepts the challenge, and he will wait to see how she gets Shaurya, and even if she dies, he won't let Shaurya perform her final rites, and that's his promise to her. Shaurya is shocked. Samrat turns around, while Shaurya desperately calls out to her, and expresses that he doesn't want to go. Urmi asks Shaurya not to be scared as his mom is with him, and very soon she will come to him, and take him forever with her, and asks him to neither be scared nor be tensed. She says that his mother will definitely come to him. Samrat storms out in his car.

Later, Urmi remembers Samrat’s stinging words. Sushma comes to her, and says that all will be fine. Urmi complies. Sushma asks her if she's pregnant. She looks up shockingly. Sushma says that she guessed it, and knows many things due to her experience. Urmi meanwhile reveals to Sushmaji that she is two months pregnant. She says that she has not disclosed this, and herself got to know sometime back, that she is in the first trimester. Susham asks her to think before bringing the child in this world, about Samrat. Urmi says that she knows, and that she wants the baby to be born and does not want to abort the child as she won't be able to separate the child from herself. Sushma says that it's a difficult choice, but if she decided, she would always be by her side. But even then as a precautionary measure, Sushma asks her to show herself to the doctor, given the way she was given a push by him. But urmi assures her that she is fine, and is more concerned for Shaurya, who must be psychologically very upset.

At Anu’s residence, Anu calls up Tanya, and asks straightaway about Ishaan, while she doesn't recognise who she is talking about. Anu decides to send the picture, and complies. When Anu excitedly talks about Ishaan, Tanya says that she doesn't know this person. Anu asks her to bring some information about this Ishaan and she complies. Anu is very happy.

At Samrat’s and Sushma’s residence, all are tensed at Samrat and Shaurya’s disappearance, while Diwaker asks Kanchan to call up Samrat and find out, but she is hesitant, fearing his temperament. Just then, Shaurya’s cries get them tensed. Samrat walks in with Shaurya, desperately trying to get free. Rudra asks if this is any way to treat the child. Shaurya continues to cry, Aditi rushes to him. Samrat says that Shaurya deserves this. Shashi says that he must have been with the mother. Samrat accuses that Urmi stole him. Samrat tells them Shaurya, willingly or unwillingly will stay here only, and if he manages to run away yet again, he would teach them all a lesson. Shaurya stands and says that he doesn't want to stay here but wants to go back. Samrat slaps Shaurya when he continues to insist on going to his mother's house. Aditi asks him what the matter is, and what's he doing. Samrat asks her to make him understand that he would have to stay here only, and forget all about the awful woman, he calls a mother. Rudra is appalled to see this. Samrat blames his mother Shashi for this, and warn if this is repeated, she would be out too. Shashi is tensed.

Aditi takes Shaurya upstairs along with her and as Aditi tries to calm down Shaurya, in the room, she gets Urmi’s call. Shaurya instantly takes it from her. Aditi closes the door as she makes him speak to his mom, while Shaurya continues to plead and beg his mom to come back, while Urmi is overwhelmed. Shaurya tries to tell his mom that his dad slapped him today, but Aditi makes him stop, adding that this just might upset his mother all the more. Urmi urgently asks him what Samrat did. He lies that he got scolded very badly. Urmi assures him that she would come very soon and take him away, and asks him not to cry, as she feels very bad, and then she would start crying too. Urmi promises him that she would never send him back there, and would always keep him close to herself. She asks him to put the phone down, asking him to tell Aditi whenever he wants to talk to her. She calms him down and then disconnects the call. Sushma composes Urmi, and asks if she would be able to keep her promise to Shaurya. Urmi says that she doesn't know, but knows this, that she would do anything to get her son back forever from that hell.

The next morning, Rudra tells Samrat that this situation won't continue for long. Samrat says that it would have to be, and that he has decided of another way out, and that Kanchan’s village sister, who was to come here, should be called, as she would be a Nanny to Shaurya. Shashi is super happy with this. Samrat then asks her to serve breakfast.

At the lawyer’s office, Urmi decides to speak to the lawyer and fight for her son. She tells him that she needs her son at any cost, when even the child didn't want to go. The lawyer asks if they are separated. She complies. He asks the duration, and she replies that it's a matter of one and a half months. He says that they should solve it then, amongst themselves, and not drag the little child in between their marital strife. The lawyer says that every wife does this, and then loves their husband from the inside, and that she should do the same too and go back to her husband, for the sake of her child. The lawyer then asks her if she is ready, and asks if she has taken the permission from her parents. She asks what's his problem, and if he really doesn't have a solution, then they wouldn't waste both of their times. He asks her to sit down, as he was just testing if she is adamant and fixed on her resolve, as he has a solution for her. She asks him to spill it out. He tells her that if she wants to terminate the marriage, then she would have to officially divorce Samrat and thereafter plead custody for the child. Urmi is stunned. The lawyer tells her that she would have to live the life of a divorcee, for the sake of her child, and asks her if she is ready for a divorce. Urmi is shocked and stunned as the only way by which she can get back Shaurya is by filing a divorce.

Sushma and her husband wait anxiously, for Urmi to return. when she does, and sits in a daze, they both impatiently ask her what the matter is. Urmi, who have decides to file the divorce as she anyhow wants Shaurya back tells them what the lawyer told her that the only way by which she can get back Shaurya is by filing a divorce. They are shocked, and try to explain to her the implications of leading the life of a divorcee. Urmi is adamant that she won't live the life of Samrat’s slave, and won't go back to him and to get her son back, if divorce is the way, then so be it. They are tensed.

At Anu’s residence, Anu gets Ishaan’s number, from her friend Tanya, and is super happy and overjoyed. She starts dancing, and Asha comes in asking what the matter is. Anushka deliberately shocks Asha by saying that she got herself a good groom, for her marriage that the family was so interested in. She leaves distraught, while Anu is amused and happy.

At Samrat’s residence, Samrat finds Shaurya sitting gloomy and sad, and asks him not to pretend and do drama. He asks him to stop this acting, and not be like his mother. Meanwhile, Shaurya is upset with his father for not letting him go to his mother and retaliates back saying that he is very bad. Hearing this from his son,  Samrat admit that he is, and that he would turn way worse, if he tries to do anything again like he did on Diwali. Samrat tells Shaurya that now he would get his mother’s company, only when his mother comes back to live with them, or else he should forever forget about his mom. Samrat warns him to not try and escape to his mother's house and asks Shaurya to either stay happy or sadly, but the fact is that he has to stay here with him. Shaurya eyes him scared and tensed. Samrat leaves. Mandira comes in finding him tensed, and when he expresses his desire to go to his mom. She asks him to do something, due to which his dad would himself send him to his mom. Shaurya asks what should he do. Later, Mandira gives Shaurya a plan with the help of which his dad himself will send him back to his mom's house and he loves the idea.

Later, as Samrat puts out a shirt, and then goes to the bathroom for taking a bath, and since both kids devise a plan to make Samrat send Shaurya back to Urmi, Mandira sprays ink all over it. Samrat comes out and finds Mandira and Shaurya studying and is happy. But then Samrat finds ink stains on his freshly bought shirt, and hollers at Mandira and Shaurya for doing this. They make excuses and apologise, and then Mandira offer to bring him another shirt in his cupboard and stain two more shirts, pretending to be ignorant of what they are doing and seeing this Samrat gets furious. Mandira then show him the ink in her that she is not aware of it. Samrat throws them out. Outside, the two adorable kids are happy that their plan was a success.

At District Office, jhansi, Urmi tries to find a counsel, who files divorce cases, and later, she manages to find a lawyer for her case, she talks about her problem with the advocate and puts forward her entire case in front of the lawyer that she wants a divorce, and then clarifies the situation going on for the past two months. She says that she wants a divorce for the custody of her child. The lawyer then decides to send a notice to Samrat. Urmi tells him that she would be able to pay in installments, and that there’s some financial crisis, but she would pay back everything. He agrees, and says that he would get the papers ready. When she mentions the name, Samrat singh Rathore, the lawyer is shocked as he later learns that Urmi wants to divorce Samrat who is a known figure in the city and he immediately refuses to take up her case saying he won't be able to fight a case against Samrat, as he would use his power and influence. Urmi tries to say that she is right and that she has a strong case, and tries to explain that they won't lose. He asks her to go for a better lawyer. She says that she can't afford a high priced lawyer. But he refuses to help her, asking her to look for other options. She feels dejected as she is having trouble finding a lawyer, because none of them want to go up against Samrat Singh Rathod and wondering how to get out of this new problem, and wonders how to get such a huge amount of money, but is determined that she would have Shaurya at any cost. She prays to the lord to show her a way. she wonders if there’s no lawyer, who is good, and has affordable fees too. She asks by whose help would she be able to get through it.

At Anu’s residence and Ishaan’s office New York, Anu is nervous, excited, shy and overwhelmed at the same time, mustering up the courage to talk to Ishaan, hoping if he would remember her. Anushka excitedly speaks to Ishaan, asking if he recognised her, but he does not recognize her and when he doesn't, she tries to make him remember by saying, that she is Anushka, from Jhansi, and then also adds that she is Urmi from Jhansi. Ishaan immediately stops when Anushka utters Urmi's name and has flashbacks of Urmi, and he is tensed.

As Ishaan and Anu catch up, she is put on hold, and she overhears Ishaan talking business with his colleagues, and how he is one of the most sought after lawyers in new york. She is impressed. He promises that he would catch up after sometime, as he is held in business dealings right now. She is super excited at having had interaction with Ishaan after so long, and plans as to how to woo Ishaan over this time.

At Samrat’s residence, Aditi decides to use the occasion of 'bhaidooj' to ask Samrat to get Amrit back in her life. Samrat impatiently asks Aditi to hurry with the ritual of bhaiya dooj, so that he can go to work. He mocks the festival, citing that it's a sister’s way to get hold of the brother’s money. She is hurt hearing this. Rudra asks Samrat to understand the value of this bond, and the festival, but he pays no heed. Diwaker gives money as a gift, and then she starts on Samrat. She remembers Amrit’s advise asking her to tell Samrat today that she is pregnant, and she decides to use the occasion of 'bhaidooj' to ask Samrat to get Amrit back in her life for their son, as a gift from Samrat. She is shocked when Samrat comments that she has gone fat recently, and should check her weight, as she won't find another suitor like this, for her second marriage, as he doesn't plan on keeping her here all the time. But at the last moment she decides against it not to tell him today. He leaves, for office after giving some money to Shaurya to give it to Mandira, when she does the ritual with him. Later, Shaurya and Mandira too celebrate 'bhaidooj'. As Mandira does the ritual, she promises Shaurya that soon she will come up with an idea, that would throw him out of the house. He gets excited with this.

Later on the road, Devi sits by the corner-stone of the temple, thinking about what his life has turned into, and how Samrat also has started insulting him now. As he moves on the road, he is oblivious of Samrat, ahead on the road, discussing with clients about purchasing a possible plot here, but having his reservations for the community around here. Devi sees him and comes to him, but he totally ignores her, pretending not to recognise him. He is hurt at such an insult. Samrat tells Devi that he is a spineless man, who is taken around for a ride, by every passing person, and points out how incapable he was in doing the one thing that he asked of him, and that was to get Urmi back. He also insults Devi in front of other people, saying how he is dominated by almost everyone in the family. Samrat then gets in his car. Samrat's car later drives over a puddle and the entire dirt and mud falls on Urmi's father face to add embarrassment to insult. Samrat’s words of calling Devi an impotent man, keep ringing in his ears, as he faces the crowd gathered to watch the drama as he gets insulted by his son-in-law.
