Grave of late Ugandan billionaire vandalised months after he was buried with money [PHOTOS]

On Tuesday night, unknown people vandalized the grave of late Uganda's billionaire businessman, Ivan Ssemwanga.

Ssemwanga, late husband of socialite Zari Hassan, was laid to rest at his ancestral grounds in Kayunga in May 2017. He was buried with wads of cash and bottles of expensive wine.
According to local media, as the vandals were scared away by dogs as they were digging the grave. They took off as the dogs barked in their direction.
Since the burial of Ssemwanga, his relatives hired security personnel to guard the grave but reliable sources have revealed that they defaulted on monthly payments. 

The source told New Vision that the security guards were only paid for the first month sh600,000 although they had agreed to pay them sh1m per month.

The father of three died on Wednesday, May 25, at Steve BikoHospital IN Pretoria, South Africa,  where he was based.
