As Akweke Francis Chidozie Okoye (Oyi Umunri) Clocks 35

Akweke Francis was born on Saturday, December 12th, 1982 at Umuahia, Abia State, into the humble and Christian family of Late Mr Patrick Sunday Nkemdilim & Dame Mrs Florence Nwakaego Okoye of Ire Village, Enugwu Ukwu, Anambra State.
Francis had a very sound beginning : thus at the age of 8, he was admitted into the School Road Model Primary School, Umuahia where he spent 6 years  acquiring basic education, crowning it with a First School Leaving Certificate in 1994.

Young and ebullient Akweke passed the entrance examination to enroll into Ibeku High School Umuahia in 1994 and he spent 3 years in the School and in search and furtherance of qualitative education, Oyi Umunri proceeded to the Prestigious  Government College Umuahia (1998-2000).

He later relocated to Enugu State and attended the Comprehensive Secondary School, Awkunanaw, Enugu State, in the year 2000 where he sat and passed his West African Senior School Certificate Exam(WASSCE).

To further acquire noble life experiences and vicissitudes, Akweke  travelled to Aba, Abia State where he became an Apprentice with his Uncle,  who specialized in Whole Sale Trading of Provisions at the Eziukwu by Cemetery Market Aba.

In 2004, Oyi Umunri returned back to his parents at Umuahia and sat for the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board Exams(JAMB), with which he gained admission into the most dreaded Political Science Department of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. He graduated in a record time of 3 years and 7 months((November 2005-June 2009).

The following year in 2000, Oyi Enugwu Ukwu Na Umunri was mobilized for his National Youth Service Corp Programme in Akwa Ibom State. At the Orientation Camp in Nsit Atai, he was elected President of All the Corp Members in Akwa Ibom/Goodluck Jonathan's Lodge. He thereafter post to do his NYSC Primary Assignment at Community Secondary School, Ikot Ewang in Nsit Ubium LGA where he taught as a Government/English Language Teacher.

On return from National Youth Service in 2011, Oyi began his political apprenticeship with the then Hon Uche Ekwunife(Iyom) of the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja.
         Same Year , he was appointed to serve as Legislative Aide/Personal Assistant to Hon Dr Barr Valentine Ayika of Anambra State House of Assembly(2011-2015).

Francis Okoye also served briefly in 2015, as Media Aide to Hon Dr Okey Eze of the Federal House of Representatives.
      Today, he is today the Managing Director of TtoT Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services with head office at TtoT Filling Station, Nkpor with branches and collection centers located at Asaba, Awka and Enugwu Ukwu. He is equally into cosmetics business and event management.
          Akweke Francis is an Orator,  very articulate in thinking and highly political in action. He always puts his time,  treasure and talent in pursuit of any cause he believes in and can be stubborn to a fault.

In 2013, Oyi of Umunri got married to his long standing heart rob and friend, Princess Mrs Chioma Rita Okoye(daughter of HRM Eze C.N Agu of Umunnekwu Agbor Kingdom, Isukwuato). His lovely wife,Chioma holds B.Sc Physics(ABSU), M.Sc Geo Physics(UNIABUJA), PhD in view(Geo Physics).
    Their union is blessed with a beautiful and intelligent daughter Chimamanda Okoye.

Oyi is a proud family man, a caring husband and loving father. He is a very kind and jolly good fellow who gives without counting cost or return...a silent philanthropist and great achiever.

His hobbies include reading, writing and public speaking.

I celebrate this great Igbo son born of Enugwu Ukwu parenthood and origin, a political Titan,  an Intellectual reservoir, social media influencer,  grassroot mobilizer, youth leader, political scientist,  social commentator,  an activist , sagacious in thinking, eloquent in speech and flamboyant in dressing.
