Two other block hostels were donated to the Foundation by other prominent Nnewi sons to mark the 52nd birthday of the host, Prince Obi Orizu (the Crown Prince of Nnewi)
The buildings were later handed over to Anambra State Ministry of Education led by Prof. Kate Omenugha.
Dr Ubah who was the Special Guest of Honour, was able represented by Ikeora Nnewi, former President General of Nnewi.
The school was built by Akwaeke Nwafor Orizu in 1959 but was handed over to the government in 1970.
Also, the Anambra state governor was represented by the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Kate Omenugha.
Other dignitaries at the event include: HRH K.O.N Orizu, the traditional ruler of Nnewi; Hon. Chukwudi Orizu, Nnewi Transition Committee Chairman; Chief Ofili Nwosu, traditional Prime Minister; Lady Joy Ulasi, Chairman PCSSC and other top government functionaries.
Various items produced by the students of the school were equally on display.
