Zee World: Friday Update On Hello Pratibha, Episode 40 to 42

Maami ji takes her first bite. Pratibha comes downstairs with the book and is shocked to see everyone on the table. She shouts Maami ji to stop taking the bite and says she will not eat this. Everyone is shocked. She hurries and gets her freshly cooked Zeera Aaloo and says she should not touch that dish as there is garlic in it. Maami ji shouts what has happened to her, she knows well she doesn’t eat garlic and onion. She says the house where their wishes are not acknowledged and where they are disrespected again and again, she tells his son that she can’t marry him here. Mahen scolds Pratibha this is what he feared for.


Pratibha only wondered about it. Rishi tells his mother there is no garlic in it. Sunidhi asks where Pratibha’s mind is. Maami ji says Pratibha might not remember it, she takes a bit and appreciates her cooking. She says her food is still tasty. Everyone smiles. Rishi says Zeera Aalu is his favorite. Rishi’s father tells Namrata not to use garlic and onion in food. Sunidhi asks Pratibha to go and get rest as she looks really pale. Pratibha goes inside. Kaashi asks Maami to say if she has disliked something in the family. Mami ji asks to keep a Pooja at home so that their family can meet Namrata. Pushpa asks to keep it till tomorrow. Pratibha is worried in the room. She comes to Mahen on the terrace and asks why is he worried. Mahen says he is worried about the wedding, his mother never likes Chachi ( aunt ). He knows from childhood how his mother hates Chachi. She now has to live with Chachi under one roof and that too because of her son. Pratibha assures her that she will make sure nothing wrong happens. Mahen says he can’t rely on her for getting through with anything wrong in the family. Pratibha got silent, with tears in her eyes without knowing that Kashi and Sunidhi play mind games with her.

Sunidhi appreciates Kaashi for creating the drama. She looks at Pratibha standing on the other side and makes a crying face that how can Pratibha think about it. Kaashi says what someone has in mind comes to mouth as well. Pratibha apologizes to Sunidhi as Kaashi likes meal with more onion and garlic. Kaashi says she would keep the respect of Mahen’s promise as he is her son. Sunidhi says she also has a responsibility towards her family. Pratibha apologizes, but Sunidhi asks Pratibha that she should promise not to suspect her again. Pratibha says it won’t happen again and leaves. Sunidhi tells Kaashi that now Pratibha won’t see anything wrong about them, even when she see it. Kaashi boasts about her idea. The next morning, Pratibha is busy with Pooja preparations. She instructs Shalu about all the arrangements. Pushpa comes out and asks Pratibha what is the list for. Pratibha says she made a list for everything this time. Kaashi shouts why she doesn’t ask elders this time. Puhpa says she is an elder of the family, Kaashi asks what she gifted the boy’s family and she should have gifted them the shagun yesterday. Sunidhi comes out, Kaashi sends her to bring bags for shagun. Pushpa asks how much shagun should be given, Kaashi says it should not be less. Pushpa says she will give 11011 to each. Sunidhi is shocked hearing this, she promises Pushpa to get the letters. Sunidhi thinks this time Pratibha won’t get them. Sunidhi calls Rishi as Pratibha, and says the time for Pooja is 4 o clock. She smiles evilly saying she had to do something.


Namrata gets ready and is nervous. Pushpa asks her to put on the tikka as it looks pretty. Namrata says she has not even seen her, Pushpa says she is the mother and knows she is pretty. Sunidhi gets the bags, Pratibha announces that Rishi’s mummy is here. Pushpa is worried that she has not even count the money. Pratibha assures to do that, Sunidhi says they all know Pratibha is a bit too tired but assured this time Pratibha won’t make a mistake. Pratibha takes the money and sends Pushpa out. The guests arrive for Pooja. Sunidhi asks Pratibha to keep the money safe as Pushpa’s respect is also at stake. Pratibha asks Sunidhi not take tension, she will manage everything. She wraps money in bag and zip it up. Sunidhi asks Pratibha to come out as the Pooja has started. Pratibha sits with the bag on her hand. After the pooja, everyone get up. Kaashi points at Sunidi about the bag. Rishi’s parents perform the pooja, then Pushpa and husband do that. Chacha asks Kaashi to do the Pooja, Kaashi asks Pratibha to come forward. Pratibha places the bag down to come forward. Sunidhi swaps the envelopes filled with money. Kaashi asks for shagun bag, Pushpa asks Pratibha who asks Sunidhi to pass the bags. Pushpa sends Pratibha to bring Prasad and sweet boxes. Kaashi distributes the bags. Pushpa asks the priest to give his blessings to Rishi and Namrata. The guests open the bags and are shocked to see only10 notes rupee. Rishi’s mother opens her bag to the complaint of a guest, the ladies talked about why they fixed this marriage in such a family. Pushpa asks them to have something to eat. Rishi’s mother thanks them curtly, saying they have already done a lot. Pushpa is shocked as what they have done. Rishi’s mother says they have to make preparations for tomorrow as well. She asks them to be careful for the engagement tomorrow. Sunidhi whispers to Kaashi that there is no drama. Pratibha is happy that everything went well.

At night, Sunidhi tells Kaashi in her room that they should have broken the engagement in such a case. Kaashi says a fire has ignited and it just needs some wind to blow. Sunidhi asks Kaashi what she is upto now. Kaashi asks for her share now, Sunidhi recalls replacing all the money envelops in the bag. Both look at the money greedily. Pratibha is making her bed, when Mahen looks at her checklist. He smiles, so does Pratibha. He says he feel happy it all went well today. Pratibha smiles, thinking she is happy if he is. She asks him to come to the room, she will bring milk for her. He says she will sleep in the room, and doesn’t like her sleeping here. She says she will be comfortable, but he asks her to go inside. Pratibha comes to the room to see Sunidhi counting a bulk of money.


Sunidhi hides all the money and stammers what she is doing here. Pratibha asks Sunidhi what happened and why is she sweating. Sunidhi says she is caught so instantly so she got worried. Pratibha asks where all this money came from. Sunidhi says this is her boutique’s money, last month that she had great sales and she didn’t get time to count them. Pratibha asks her to sleep now. Sunidhi says Pratibha is such a fool, she wonders what Rishi’s family must be going through. Rishi’s mother is angry at him. Rishi says may be there was a mistake, or may be they didn’t know what to give for shagun, he wonders why doesn’t she talk to them calmly for once, keeping in mind that he loves Namrata a lot. Rishi manages to convince his mother to calm down. Pushpa gets Sumitra’s call, Sumitra says she is really upset for what happened today. She only request her to take care that it should not happen again. Pushpa says she tried to make the best arrangements. Sumitra says she is talking about Shagun and that the money was so less. Pushpa says she thought it was good enough, may be things have changed in so many years. Sumitra says she will consult her elders, whatever she does should be up to the mark. Pushpa says she will take care of this in engagement. Pushpa wonders that 11,000 wasn’t this less even her husband says that she should buy some jewellery for Rishi’s mother as well, along with Namrita’s.

Next morning, Pratibha is in kitchen when Pushpa comes to he. Pratibha asks her for coffee. Pushpa says without her coffee, her day doesn’t start. Pushpa asks if she was the one to put money in shagun’s envelope. Pratibha asks what happened, Pushpa says there was some problem. Namrita comes and says she is thinking about buying some jewellery from Mahen’s shop. Mahen says one must never do business from family. Namrata asks if he is denying his sister, Pushpa says he can earn from them. Pushpa sides them, Mahen says his shop is small but he will manage. Namrita asks to go with him, Mahen says he has some design which he will bring at night.


They all select designs, Kaashi says her son is keeping such expensive jewellery along him him. She says his imitation jewellery is marvelous. Kaashi tells Pushpa expensive the set is, more respect her daughter will get. Pushpa asks her to select the design. Kaashi is curt as Pushpa is in front of Sunidhi. Kaashi gives instructions to Sunidhi about an idea. She says that this time now one can stop this marriage from breaking. Pratibha makes arrangements for the engagement. Namrata announces that Mahen is home, they all see the jewellery. Mahen asks them to see the designs and takes leave. Sunidhi asks Pushpa where she will keep such expensive jewellery, it must be kept somewhere safe. Pushpa asks Pratibha if there is a locker, Pratibha says there is one in her room. Pushpa asks to keep them; Pratibha denies taking a big responsibility. Chacha asks why she is worrying; Pushpa also asks if she is worried about it's theft. Pratibha says she sometimes do big mistakes and she won’t be able to do this. Pushpa says alright, she will keep it under her pillow herself. Pratibha agrees to keep them safe. Everyone leave for their rooms. Kaashi and Sunidhi winks at each other.

Sunidhi peeks at Pratibha saving the jewellery in the safe and watches her tie the keys to her saree. She comes to Pratibha and asks if she is still awake. Pratibha says she will only be able to sleep after the engagement, she has a responsibility of such an expensive jewellery. Sunidhi suggests about bringing coffee for her. Sunidhi asks Kaashi for sleeping pills, Kaashi says she can’t hand it to her else she may even betray her. She gives Sunidhi a single tablet. Sunidhi intend to gives Pratibha a sleeping pill as part of her plan to cause more damage. She put something in her coffee and brings the coffee to Pratibha in her room. Pratibha thanks Sunidhi for this and says no one else needs to stay awake except for her. Sunidhi watches Pratibha take sip from the coffee. Sunidhi thinks she will correct Pratibha, and she will be awake tonight. Pratibha is sleeping on the couch, while the keys of the locker is lying on her lap. Sunidhi enters the room, opens the locker and takes the jewellery boxes from it.
