Tuesday October 17 Update On Lies Of The Heart, Episode 140 - 141

Urmi is tensed while Shashi is excited. Samrat is surprised to see Urmi lying to him about her whereabouts during Shaurya's swimming classes. As he comes to confront her, Shashi is happy. He asks her to go and get his clothes, as they have to go for dinner. Shashi is shocked to see this u-turn. He asks his mother to go and get coffee. Shashi is surprised but resignedly agrees. Urmi leaves to get his clothes. Shashi's surprised.


Shashi comes up on the roof, to instigate Samrat against Urmi again, and asks why did he easily let her go. Samrat is super furious at the fact thar Urmi has the guts and dared to even forget asking him, and not bothering to even inform him, and has joined dance classes. Shashi smiles evilly as her plan falls into place. Samrat tells his mother that he is going to wait and see how long Urmi is going to take to reveal the truth about her dance classes, and states that the longer Urmi takes to tell him the truth, the more severe her punishment will be and says that he will teach her a good lesson. Shashi smiles evilly while he is in a rage.

The next morning, on the breakfast table Samrat speaks about Shaurya's swimming classes at the dining table but he deliberately brings up the topic to sees if Urmi will tell him the truth. He asks how is it going and if his instructor is good with him. Shaurya goes on a rant, while Samrat asks when should he come to watch Shaurya. Urmi is highly uncomfortable and gets tensed when he mentions that he will be coming for the classes. Samrat says that he would come today only then, and see him and others too. He indirects continues to keep Urmi tensed. Tauji too is tensed. Urmi is asked by Samrat if she knows any of his friends. She hesitates and says that she does. Shashi smiles evilly. Urmi signals her mother-in-law while she asks him to go some other time. Samrat shuts her up. Urmi says that he can come when he wants. Samrat says that he would come and that she can continue the classes everyday. She is shocked, while he clarifies that he was talking about Shaurya’s swimming classes. Later, she relaxes when Samrat postpones his visit to Shaurya's classes.


Shashi finds Urmi tensed in the kitchen and is amused. Shashi comes to her with a serious face, saying that she doged the bullet today. Urmi says that she doesn't feel it's right keeping it away from Samrat and tell him soon. Shashi thinks that if she tells Samrat then her punishment would be really less. She instigates Urmi to not tell him. But Urmi is uncomfortable with this decision. When she complies, Shashi thinks that now she would play to Samrat’s tunes.

Urmi comes to her room and asks about Samrat and is told by Shaurya that he has gone for a bath. Shaurya goes out taking a toy. Urmi is resolved to tell this to Samrat, whatever maybe the consequences. Later, while Samrat is getting ready, Urmi, who decides to speak to Samrat about her dance classes comes to him and says that she wants to tell him something. Samrat eyes her sternly, while she is tensed, thinking that she finally buckled under pressure and is about to tell him, about her secret. He casually asks what does she want to talk about. Urmi says that it's really important. Samrat taunts her against it. Urmi says that she is serious, but he continues to taunt her, taking her lightly. He asks her to say it fast. But when she is about to tell him about the classes 'Tauji' intervenes and stops her. Tauji also reprimands her not to tell small, petty things to Samrat and irritate Samrat for the same. Tauji says that she is concerned that Samrat is eating so muich these days. Samrat reprimands her for the same. Urmi tries to clarify, but Tauji says that she was concerned for his health. Samrat instantly asks him to come along and get a checkup done. Tauji is tensed, but says that he would go himself. Samrat asks him to get a check up done and show the reports. Samrat leaves.

After Samrat leaves, Tauji asks what was she about to do, and that he heard her talk with Shashi. Urmi asks what to do, as she doesn't like hiding things from him. Tauji says that if Samrat had understood, then this wouldn't have happened, and if he can't agree to this, he doesn't need to be informed. She is asked to take her own decisions without fear, as she is a mature, independant lady. Urmi understands, and decides to follow his advise.


At Anu’s residence, while all make plans for Anu to be taken to meet her prospective in-laws, Anu goes out the door saying that she has plans with her friends. But Granny Gayatri and Saroj make up plans for going out to the new ice cream parlour. Granny again emotionally blackmails her in the name of family. Anu says that she would come directly from there. Devi asks her to be there at 5 sharp. As Granny finds that she is dressed in top and skirts, she asks her to change into the new suit, but Anu says that it's a casual meet and not some function. Anu leaves. Asha comes and asks if she would go too, and continues with her nonsensical banter as usual. Granny and Saroj are frustrated.

At Urmi’s dance classes, Urmi is dancing with fervour in her dance classes. A new person joins in, who comes late, and identifies himself as Manish. The instructor gives him instructions. Manish eyes Urmi as she takes her berak, and drinks water. She finds him staring at her, and gets uncomfortable and looks away. Later, Urmi panics when Samrat calls her during her dance classes to ask her if the classes are okay, and when she says that they are okay, he asks her to pass the phone to Shaurya, so that he can talk to him and find out how he is doing. Urmi is shocked and perplexed what to do and how long will she manage to hide about the dance classes from Samrat?  Manish observes Urmi. Samrat insists. Urmi is at a loss for an answer. Samrat smiles at Urmi’s squirming. He himself says that Shaurya must be in the pool and hence won't be able to talk. urmi complies to this but is still tensed. He asks her get back to her work, and disconnect the call. Samrat thinks that Urmi can't hide anything from him, and that he would enjoy this game all the more. Manish asks Urmi what happened as she looks tensed, and if there’s any problem. Urmi asks him to mind his own business and not medlle his nose in others’ affairs. Manish says that he was just trying to be friendly, and Urmi lashes that he should only focus on what he has come here to do, and not make friends.


Anu's parents meet Karan's parents at the hotel to talk about the marriage proposal and are pleased to meet Karan. All are waiting for her. Just then Anu calls her mother and informs them that she will not be coming. Granny Gayatri asks Saroj what happened and she replied that Anu refused. Anu's parents and grandmother get worried. Karan senses the situation heating up, he gets up and meets Saroj and tries to find out from Anu's parents about what has happened. Saroj lies that her friend is not well, so she can't come over here. Karan easily gets convinced and does not mind Anu not coming there and tells them not to take tension. His dad says he will make his parents understand and suggests to let them ice cream

At Samrat home, Samrat belittles Divakar once again simply because he says he is sure of what is happened in hotel room and girls come in rooms. Amrit is doing thime is cheating in their sister. Samrat gets angry when his brother Divakar tells him about the enquiry that he had conducted in the hotel room. He  shouts at Divakar asking how dare he went to the room. Samrat says is his boss and not with her Samrat.

its his company. The whole family sees this and get shocked. Samrat tells him not to act over smart. He called him useless and just do what he is expected. Samrat then tells him to shut up and add that Amrit gave project for cost cutting. Samrat further says he is useless in his company and he is being paid for nothing and it's waste and that he is tolerating him as he is his brother and he would not mind throwing him out of his company.

At Anu home, Asha talks nonsense. Granny says she got insulted as Anu didn't come to see the boy. Anu is clueless what happened. Saroj tells Anu that they had called the boy there and the boy is good. Anu says big surprised and can't says they are doing good. Anu says they spoiled Guarav life and not to dare to talk to her. Devi tells keep quiet as she rudely speak to them and she have to meet them and not to dare do any nonsense and adds they will stop her from going out.

At Samrat's residence, Urmi is thinking about what happen last night between Divkar and Samrat. Tauji talks to Urmi about this. Urmi says she felt bad for Divkar and adds that this is this the way Samrat talks to his brother. Tauji advises Urmi and he says Divakar attitude is listens to all crap and to think about herself. Meanwhile, Asha meets Saroj and asks what other work he have. Saroj says its alright. Asha says that she is afraid of dads anger and asks what will happen when the boy comes to see Anu and if she is not at home. Saroj assures her that Devi will not shout at her as she is the daughter in-law of the house. Asha thanks some crap. On the other hand, someone calls Urmi regarding the dance class and she blasts that guy. Shashi too overhears Urmi on the phone and she decides to take advantage of the situation.
