[PHOTOS] How Catholic Priest Was Reportedly Murdered After Criticizing Kenyan Government

Reverend Father Evans Juma Oduor, a priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kisumu died on October 23 following an attack in Chiga Muhoroni Sub-county, Kenya.

According to a local newspaper, the priest was found unconscious near a
sugar plantation at Chiga Market Centre by good Samaritans while his burnt car was found some five kilometers away,

According to Kisumu Police County
Commander, John Kamau, police were
unable to identify the body and booked him at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Referral Hospital as unknown.

Dr Juliana Otieno, the Superintendent at the Hospital said that Fr Oduor had massive head injuries that may have led to his death.

Two weeks before his death, the deceased had launched a public appeal to the government to stop killing the Luo, Raila Odinga’s ethnic group, the leading opponent of outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8th presidential election, then nullified by the Supreme Court, on the appeal of Odinga himself.

Conspiracy theorists are saying that his death might not be unconnected to his recent criticism against Uhuru Kenyatta's led government.
