Catalonia Independence: You're Naive If You Believe Ideas Of Biafra Or Oduduwa Are Dead – Fani-Kayode

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has claimed that the declaration of Catalonia as an independent nation from Spain, “serves as a warning to Nigeria and those who believe that the ideas of Biafra or Oduduwa are dead are naive.”

In a tweet on Saturday morning, Fani-Kayode insisted that it also meant that Biafra and Oduduwa are not dead ideas.

“The declaration of Catalonia as an independent nation from Spain serves as a warning to Nigeria. Those that believe that the ideas of Biafra or Oduduwa are dead are naive. Far from being over the dance has just begun. Nigeria MUST be fair to ALL if she is to survive as one nation,” he wrote.

Several Catalan towns have taken down Spanish flags on Friday. This was after the region’s parliament voted in favour of independence from Spain.

Spain’s flags were taken down in towns such as Sabadell, Catalonia’s fifth-largest city, and of Girona, whose former mayor is Catalan President, Carles Puigdemont.
