Why Obiano Deserves Re-election – Lady Maduabum

As November 18 Anambra state governorship election draws closer, the political equation of Ukpor community in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State appeared to have changed with the recent alignment and realignment of political stakeholders.


On Wednesday, some members of Willie Obiano campaign committee in Ukpor led by Comrade Elechukwu Nwanya, met with a major stakeholder, Lady Bridget Maduabu, alias Mama Ward iv.
Welcoming the committee, Lady Maduabum noted that a visibly performed government should be encouraged to bring its vision for the state to completion, adding that Obiano’s administration has done exceptionally well in the last three and half years so much so that it needed to be supported to complete its developmental initiatives for the state.


"Since Willie took over as the governor, the security has improved tremendously. I've been sleeping with my eyes closed. I receive my pension as at when due unlike the status quo. A lot have changed and that's a major reason Obiano needs to be re-elected in other to continue his good works in the state," she said.
The Transition Committee Chairman of Nnewi South, Engr Felix Odimegwu who was among the entourage thanked Lady Maduabum for the hospitality she meted out to the committee members and promised that the party will continue to make necessary consultations.

Other members of the entourage include, the newly appointed Senior Special Assistants on political matters to the governor, Apostle Romanus Okolie, Mr Chigozie Anapusim and many others.
