Everton midfielder, Ross Barkley has debunked claims that he underwent medicals at Chelsea prior to the end of transfer window.
There were reports that the England international had a medical with Chelsea on the final day of the transfer window and later decided against joining the club.
The owner of Everton, Farhad Moshiri said that after a £35 million fee and personal terms had been agreed, Barkley turned down the transfer after the medical.
However, the Everton forward took to his Twitter handle on Saturday to dismiss talk of a medical taking place.
He wrote, “Contrary to a number of reports in the press, I did not undertake any medical with any club at any point.
"I did not want to make any decision about a transfer while I'm out with a hamstring injury."
