Nnamdi Kanu And The Python Dance: Igbo Have No King (Igbo Enwe Eze)

By Tony Osborg.

We should not wake up tomorrow to hear that Nnamdi Kanu has been arrested or killed while trying to escape out of Nigeria.

That would be most demoralizing to both his supporters and his cause.

He should man up and face the bullet. There would be no greater honor than for him to be killed by the Nigerian Army while fighting for what he believes in.

If the Army is foolish enough to kill Nnamdi Kanu under the present circumstance, then the FG would have a debt to pay the Igbo race in the nearest future.

I am aware that the high command of IPOB is currently in discussion on whether to turn into arm struggle or not. Due to the present circumstances,  whatever decision they come out with will be amoral.

Kanu has made a lot of strategic mistakes but again that does not give the FG the right to kill him or his group. The right to self-determination is not a crime.

I am disappointed at the leaders of the South East and I hope IPOB would use it's grassroot penetration advantage and deal with them at the right time.

IPOB had successfully  become an invaluable but uncontrollable  asset for the Igbos politically, especially on the level of federal negotiations for prebendal regional and ethnic interests.

It's quite unfortunate how in a haste, their leaders have destroyed this asset of theirs. They missed out in 2015. They have missed out again out of cowardice.

Again, it has been proven that 'Igbo enwe eze'. Igbo have no kings.
