List Of International Organizations Nigeria Will Exit From

The federal government of Nigeria recently announced it would exit 70 international bodies. Speculations have been high on the particular organizations.

Below are some of the list according to online reports.


Note: This has not been independently verified.
  • African Development Bank(ADB); 
  • African Union (AU); 
  • Commonwealth of Nations;
  • Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS)
  • Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Group of 15,bG-19; Group of 24 and Group of 77. 

Others are:

  • International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA);
  • International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
  • International Chamber of Commerce, (ICC); International Civil Aviation Organisation, (ICAO)
  • International Criminal Court (ICC)
  • International Development Association (IDA).
  • International Finance Corporation (IFC);
  • International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
  • International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO); 
  • International Labor Organisation (ILO)
  • International Monetary Fund (IMF)
  • International Maritime Organisation (IMO).

  • International Mobile Satellite Organization (IMSO)
  • International Olympic Committee, (IOC); 
  • International Organisation for Standardization (IOS)
  • International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement (IRCRCM)

  • Non-Aligned Movement; 
  • Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW)
  • Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC)
  • Permanent Court of Arbitration.
  • United Nations Organisation (UNO)
  • United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)
  • United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA)
  • United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO)
  • United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR)

If the above list happens to be true, then the country is doomed.

  1. Truly truly ,the country is doomed if we actually leave the following organizations.
    God help Nigeria 🇳🇬
    Leaving the United Nations is let's say manageable
    But also leaving the African Union too , that's too much .
    That means Nigeria is already on her own .

    Since as a country she is not helping other countries, on that same way , other countries won't help neither.
    We are not only leaving the whole United Nations or the African Union , we are also destroying the same Nigeria 🇳🇬 causing division between ourselves.
