All the the doctors and pharmacists attending mass in the hospital have retired to the theatre and casualty units for surgeries and treatment.

The church was built by a South African-based business man and philanthropist, High Chief Nnamdi Ikegwuonu, popularly known as Bishop.

According to reports, Bishop left the town yesterday before today's unfortunate incident.
Unconfirmed reports say that gunmen, after the church massacre, proceeded to the philanthropist's house and shot his father dead.

It has been confirmed that the problem originated from South Africa and has taken lives of prominent Ozubulu sons and Daughters over there. There is a length list of those they say must die.
Unfortunately, the killings have been going on since 3 years.

The big question remains, why bringing issues that happened in South Africa into the church in their own village?

On hearing the sad development, the governor of Anambra state,  Chief Willie Obiano stormed the scene to ascertain the level of damage and sympathize with the people.

Speaking at the Church premises, the governor revealed that preliminary security investigations show that the shooting was caused by a feud between two brothers from the community living outside Nigeria

"This is sacrilegious, totally unacceptable in Anambra State," he said.

The deeply saddened governor asked the people to go about their businesses without fear or panic noting that this isolated case must be followed to the root and all perpetrators must be brought to book.

"We can't allow this happen in Anambra, we must get everyone involved to face the music," the governor said.
