[PHOTOS] Suspected Burglars/Robbers Arrested In Ukpor

 A three man gang terrorizing Ukpor and its environs have been arrested.

The three men simply identified as Ebuka, Ekene and Chisom were arrested on Saturday, August 5th by a team of vigilante led by Commander Clifford Obidike.

Recall that Ekene was arrested last year for selling his new born baby but was later released after the baby was recovered from the buyer. Meanwhile, he ran away last night after he pleaded with the security men to allow him answer the call of nature.

Prior to the arrest, there were so many cases of burglary and robbery in Ukpor which the culprits admitted to have partaken in some. Local shops and isolated private residence have been their targets.

Items recovered from them include: axes, jack knives, stolen motorcycle and so many others.

A young man who bought the stolen items was equally arrested.

The youths wanted to take law into their hands but the president general of Ebe Development Union, Chief Elochukwu Emokai arrived the scene and pleaded with them to allow the police to handle the matter.

The Police later took them away. They will be charged to court soon.

The police equally vowed to arrest other fleeing members of the gang.
