"Come with me , Let's build a society that can solve her problems" ~ Ifeanyi Ubah
Last year, the Leadership of Pharmaceutical Students (PANS) met me severally for the sponsorship of their annual Convention which Nnamdi Azikiwe University was to host.
Their primary request was for me to support them financially towards hosting a successful National Convention that will have all the students from Schools of Pharmacy across our various Universities in Nigeria in attendance.
Personally, granting them financial support for them to host the convention wasnt much of a problem to me, but I thought otherwise, I thought of more enduring projects that will benefit the students, the state and the nation in general.
Perusing through their proposals for the event, I observed they were missing a critical portion on what our society should look for after and they were paying attention to non enduring projects.
What did I expect and what did I not see ?
I expected them to have a room for incentive for our students with new discovery on areas of drugs, medicine(orthodox and traditional) and all that is related therein.
On that note, I went on to introduce Annual Prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd best Research work or new discoveries.
It is of note that besides instituting research grant and Prices for researches and new discoveries in medical and pharmaceutical disciplines, I did assisted them financially to see that they successfully held the convention last year to the glory of God.
Today, more students are getting ready to participate and win National Prizes on new medicinal and pharmaceutical discovery funded by Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation.
Let's Challenge and motivate our Students to achieve great result for our Nation.
I am running for the office of the Governor of Anambra State for us to use the instrumentality of our government to advance development.
Come with me, Let's go build a society that can solve her problems.
