BREAKING: Billionaire Kidnapper, Evans Pleads Guilty In Court [PHOTOS]

The notorious billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, a.k.a Evans, has pleaded guilty to conspiracy and kidnapping before a judge of the Ikeja High Court, Premium Times reports.

Evans was arraigned by Lagos State Police Command at the Ikeja High Court today, Wednesday, August 30th, 2017.

As early as 7am today, about 40 heavily armed mobile policemen were spotted at the court compound. Others were strategically positioned outside the court premises including those on horseback.

Police source said, “it was neccessary to aviod a possible attack by suspected gang members who could attempt to release him and apart from that, familiy and friends of his victims are threatning to kill Evans before he steps into the court. They are scared that the court might set him free.”

Earlier on Tuesday, a Lagos Division of the Federal High Court adjourned till September 5 to hear arguments from Evan’s and police lawyers on why he should not deliver judgment on the fundamental rights application brought by Evans.
