Anthony Joshua Prays For Victims, Survivors Of Recent Worldwide Tragedies

British heavyweight boxing champion of Nigeria ancestry, Anthony Joshua on Sunday evening mourned victims of tragedies that have befallen several nations around the world in the past week.

More than 400 people died in Sierra Leone last week following devastating floods and mudslides, while at least 14 people were killed in twin terrorist attacks in Barcelona, Spain five days ago and the seaside resort of Cambrils. There were also deaths in terror attacks in Finland and a white supremacist march turned ugly in America.

Anthony Joshua took to his Twitter account handle on Sunday and wrote: “Thinking of those who have been affected in all the tragedies worldwide right now. I pray for strength & unity in these tough times.”

Joshua is currently the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and the International Boxing Organisation (IBO) unified world champion following his April 29 win against Wladimir Klitschko.
