Anambra Guber: Obidigbo Congratulates Hon Tony Nwoye.

Dr Chike Obidigbo, has congratulated Hon. Tony Nwoye for emerging victorious at the just concluded All Progressives Congress governorship primary election.

Dr Obidigbo who withdrew from further participation of the primary election in a letter to the National Chairman of APC, Chief John Oyegun dated August 24, 2017 citing personal reasons said, the peaceful conduct of the primary election is an indication that APC is showing leadership in internal party democracy.

Speaking at Awka, Dr Obidigbo said, "Tony has done well, I congratulate him. Despite the fact that I withdrew from the process, I am satisfied that the election was peaceful. The party delegates have spoken and I urge all other aspirants to accept the outcome and join hands with Tony and the party to win the November election."

"I also commend the National Congress Committee led by His Excellency. Gov Shetima, for conducting a very commendable election.

"Primaries have come and gone, Tony should begin the process of bringing the party members together."
