Today In Plenary: Proceedings Of The Nigerian Senate Of Tuesday, 18th July, 2017.

It's a new Legislative day in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Senate President Bukola Saraki took the official prayer and led the chamber into today's proceedings.

Senator shaaba Lafiagi moved for the approval of Votes and Proceedings of Thursday 13th July, 2017. Senator Jeremiah Useni seconded.

POINT OF ORDER

Senator Ahmed Lawan cited order 43 and informed the Senate on the demise of Honourable Abdullahi Wamakko representing Kware/Wamakko constituency, Sokoto State, who passed away on Friday, 14th July 2017.

Senate resolved to:
I) Observe a minute silence
II) Send delegates to commiserate with the family of the deceased.

Senate President Bukola Saraki Said He and three of his colleagues paid a condolence visit to Senator Aliyu Wamakko and Family.

ADJOURNMENT

Senate Leader Ahmed Lawan moved that Plenary be adjourned to another Legislative Day in honour of the late Honourable Abdullahi Wamakko. Minority leader seconded.

Plenary is adjourned to Wednesday, 19th July, 2017.
