PRESS RELEASE: Billionaire Kidnapper, Evans Not Missing – Police

The Nigeria Police Force has debunked the rumour circulating on the internet that notorious kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans is missing.

Daily Sun newspaper had earlier today, published that about 30 armed men forcefully took him away last night to an unknown destination.

In statement released few hours ago, obtained by cfrmagazine.com, signed by CSP Jimoh Moshood, Force Public Relations Officer, Abuja, the Police described the story as "untrue and absolute falsehood"

RE – EVANS VANISHES, BILLIONAIRE KIDNAPPER’S WHEREABOUT UNKNOWN

Evans is intact in Police Custody, investigations into all the crimes he has committed which include several kidnappings; armed robbery and murder are ongoing. The Police have made significant progress in the investigations of these crimes.

The public should disregard and discountenance all media reports in the social and print media that he has vanished or released and all criminal charges against him dropped as UNTRUE and ABSOLUTE FALSEHOOD.

Evans is in Police Custody and would be arraigned in court along with other members of his gang on completion of investigation.
