When the information filtered in about the incident, they all trooped out to the station and advised the policemen to lock them up if they failed to release their members.

According to reports, the DPO of the station intervened when he found out that the crowd was increasing.

He later addressed the crowd and stated that the reason they were arrested was because they mounted road blocks on the highway which the IPOB members quickly denied. They were later released.
