Blogging is not what you think!

One of the guys who was privileged to be in gathering where I taught about blogging  last year and how to make cool dollars from it ,met me some days ago and was like

Boss that thing is not working o!
He was angry some how with me that I talked him into starting what was not lucrative.

 I laughed at him in Greek because I know he applied just part of the principles I taught expecting a 100% result.
100% application of principle gives 100% result

His confrontation was funny though because it was a reverse of what he expected.
I said to him calm down let's know where you got it wrong.

He said what angered him most is that I even asked him to register the blog which he did with $10 .
The young man was acting as if am his MMM direct up liner .

I asked him

How long have you been active on that blog ?
Since February?

An average of how many post do you have daily?
Sometimes 1,at most 3.

Like how many article is on your blog now?
I don't really know but is up to 50.

I stopped here and said to him my friend blog is like building community of people who rely on you for a particular service especially information in a specific area.

No 1 having Just 50 posts since February means your audience is starving and you're not doing it passionately.
With passion you can post at least 10 daily.
You don't make $ from blog just because you secured a domain name with $10 ,is not a ponzi, even in ponzi you have to do some homework .You make money by having heavy traffic just like the ones we see in Lagos state after which companies including Google ,jiji ,jumia etc and Individuals will place targeted adverts for people visiting your blog to see.
Blog success = More Traffic, More Money

I talked to him extensively and equally gave him some secrets which I won't shout here.

Conclusion.
Blogging is not a quick money scheme, it requires lot of discipline, passion and patience before the profit.
If you can't make the sacrifice don't attempt because you might discourage others.

No body pays you need money, people pay you because you gave them value.
