PHOTOS: Two men arrested for beheading 7-year-old schoolboy in Ikorodu (Warning! Graphic images)

Two men have been arrested with the head and butchered body of a 7-year-old schoolboy whose parents had declared missing on Wednesday in Ikorodu, Lagos state.

One of the suspects simply identified as Eric was arrested along Odogunyan road by a team of policemen  on a stop and search mission.

It was gathered that the suspect later led a team of police detectives to Odokekere area of Odogunya where his accomplice was also picked up.

It was also gathered that at the time of their arrest and recovery, the head of the young boy was tucked inside a big sack and that it was covered with foam and charcoal.

Eric had alleged  that a pastor in the area was the one who paid him to behead the boy.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Olarinde Famous-Cole who confirmed the incident said that around 2.30am yesterday, operatives from the police command while on patrol in ikorodu arrested two persons for allegedly stealing the boy.
