PHOTO: 2 killed as Governor Bello, Dino Melaye’s loyalists clash in Kogi

Political crisis involving Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Dino Melaye is currently ongoing on in Lokoja the state capital.

As at the time of this report, two persons died after they were hit by Police bullet but could not be identified as to who’s camp the victims belonged.

The information has it that those loyal to Senator Dino Melaye who were mainly students converged in Lokoja to block attempts to continue with recall process but were met with stiff resistance from governor Yahaya Bello’s camp.

The scuffle led to the death of two persons.
