Osimhen Remains Upbeat Despite Bench Role For Wolfsburg Vs Frankfurt

Former Flying Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, remains upbeat despite not making his debut for Wolfsburg in Saturday's win at the Eintracht Frankfurt's Commerzbank-Arena.

Wolfsburg spanked Frankfurt 2-0 in a Bundesliga game to move up to 14th in the Bundesliga log with two games left to play.

Second half goals from Daniel Didavi and Mario Gomez handed Wolfsburg their tenth win of the season.

The Nigerian youth international was an unused substitute for the second game in a row since regaining full fitness from a knee injury that kept him out of action for two months.

"I'm patient and gradually getting into the team. Hopefully, I could make my Bundesliga debut before the end of the season," Osimhen told Complete Sports .

The 18 year old forward also took to his photo sharing page on Instagram to express his delight at Wolfsburg win at Eintracht Frankfurt.

He wrote: "Thank you Lord. Unable to make my debut against Eintracht Frankfurt, but I'm happy at the result."
