OPINION: Femi Fani Kayode: A Lunatic Or Nerd

One confirmed nonentity with an extreme mental retardation called Femi Fani Kayode has just used the most uncut and unprintable gutter language that can only effuse from a warped brain of a lunatic to denigrate the highly revered person of Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige.

A former governor of Anambra State, former Senator n currently a serving minister for holding an opinion. The sort of invectives he would never dare deploy to express any disagreement with any of his Yoruba elders no matter how deeply he disagrees with them.

There re many Yorubas in APC who hold contrary views yet he has never described them in such a vitriolic manner. I have heard him express his disagreement with Tinubu on the APC agenda but he did so with utmost deference.

He described his disappointment with Musiliu Obanikoro's impeding decampment to the APC but with absolute decorum. He has disagreed with Obasanjo but with the kindest choice of words. Have you ever heard Fani Kayode insulting any Yoruba leader on the social media?

Why do we Igbos often times derive joy in destroying our own. Instead of us to rise in unison to viciously condemn the idiot we re clapping for him. It's not about whether Dr. Ngige was right or wrong on his posit but describing him in such a manner for merely holding an opinion was absolutely nauseating and we should condemn it wholeheartedly.

The plurality of opinion is one of the ingredients that spices up democracy. If there was no space for divergent views then we shouldn't talk about multiparty democracy.

The Fani Kayode like his father is an outcast in Yoruba land and they loathe his person and family with passion for their treacherous propensities.

Regardless of that he cannot muster the audacity to insult any Yoruba leader and elder of Dr. Ngige's standing without any retribution from the Yorubas.

When an outsider insults your family member you hold in an extreme reverence it become a collective insult if no member of the family raised a finger to defend one of theirs.

If Dr. Ngige strays into what we may consider a political abyss we have our In-house mechanism to lift him up, call him to order and reprimand him but we shouldn't allow a confirmed idiot to maliciously derogate our leaders without a whimper from us for if we allowed it today he will most certainly extend it to others tomorrow. Let's draw  a line between insults and political disagreements.
