Opinion by Fino Iyke on handing over of Agulu Lake Hotel to Golden Tulip by Anambra State Government [Unedited]

"Ndi AGULU have we lost all our guts?
When did the will and capacity of ndi AGULU my town to stand firm on core igbo values become doubtful,

"Agulu youths, Have we all succumbed to the deceits and perpetual lies  hovering in our community by anambra state government, hitting us under with hard object again and again in the name of politics? Then we have to learn from ukpor people that courageously said "NO" to the deceits.

"I am still wondering when Anambra state government started and completed Agulu lake hotel they have abandoned for over two years till date, hence signing the MOU with GOLDEN TULIP for furnishing and management.

"We have NIKE LAKE RESORT, UGUTA LAKE RESORT and Agulu LAKE.
Why hurriedly changed the name AGULU LAKE RESORT, to GOLDEN GATE HOTEL, entirely obliterated the name "AGULU LAKE" that would have make the project a tourist attraction, What does that entails if not to relegate the host community to a conquered territory and make caricature of our son, peter OBI who they where hell bent on rendering impossible political irrelevant, may be to have an easy ride for second term ambition with poor performance. "Mana ana egbu achala, achala ana eto."

"It's a known fact that this project was initiated and erected to 90% stages by our illustrious son before handing over to his successor, and thereby saved money for the completion.

"I was shocked to my marrow that anambra state government gathered crowds to mock us on our soil, by celebrating an uncompleted project which they have been promising us to commission since Dec 2014, 2015 and 2016 respectively. And our stakeholders and youths assembled to partake in such criminal frivol activities in this recession period, whereby we have many projects around begging for an attention.
Have we all mortgaged our conscience for crumbs? TUFIAKWA, some peoples orientation in politics are still very poor.

"However, just like a poor barren widow in a polygamous family, many have refused to talk because they are afraid of unknown after compromising there values and conscience.

"What happened to the money that was saved for the completion of this project?

"Is GOLDEN TULIP a construction company to complete the project?
since the Chinese construction company pulled out from the job for inadequate funding, have they revalued the completion cost and rearwarded the project again, and to who and when?

"Agulu people must vehemently reject to suffer a fool in the hand of this ungrateful EMPEROR at awka   with his gimmicks and greek gifts, Unless we have agreed to respond on these long neglects through the strategies of old great warriors of our land, by EKWELU na ANYA EKWEGHI no OBI, Then I rest my case immediately the fat lady sings"
