FC Ifeanyiubah will slug it out with Kano Pillars in today's NPFL matchday 21 fixture at Nnewi.
Ifeanyiubah are unbeaten in six consecutive league games going into Sunday's crunchy tie.
Kano Pillars coach, Ahmed Garba (aka, Yaro Yaro), the former Nigeria international and 2003 CAF Champions League winner with Enyimba insists he has what it takes to challenge for the maximum points.
"We have respect for FC Ifeanyiubah which I believe they duly deserve going by their achievements so far in Nigerian football," states the former FC Academia of Denmark left-footed forward.
"They are current holders of the Federation Cup and have been impressive so far in the league.
"But we are not here (Nnewi) to watch the beauty of the town.
"As a club, we have our own respect too.
"However, I believe the game will be tough.
"They have a good team which explains why they have remained consistent and unbeaten in six games so far.
"On our side, this coaching job is what I've been doing right from kid, as player, and now a professional coach.
"This game won't be any different from the ones I have seen through.
"And I believe we can come out of it with a good result."
FC IfeanyiUbah will be keen to avenge their matchday 1 defeat to Kano Pillars in Sunday's Nigerian Professional League clash in Nnewi.
The reverse fixture between the two sides on the opening day of the season, January 14, 2017, was inconclusive, forcing the LMC to award the game technically, to Kano Pillars.
This time, both teams will have a lot to play for.
In other fixtures, Nasarawa United will battle Wikki Tourists in Lafia while Gombe will be aiming for their seventh win of the campaign against Katsina United.
