#BiafraAt50: Blame Not Ndigbo For Who They Are, By Ikenna Asomba

Before and after yesterday's Sit-At-Home Gesture which had a total compliance all over the five Eastern States and parts of the South South States, particularly Delta and Rivers State, Yours Truly observed something unfortunate.

Some youths (a very microscopic percentage) from the South-West (Yorubas), South-South (Niger-Deltans) and South-East  (Ndi My Mama Say I Be Ibo) continously made themselves e-warriors and e-militants authoring clueless articles to satisfy their chauvinistic personal aggrandisements.

Despite they doubted there would be a Total Compliance in South-East States, there was. Now, there was a Total Compliance, instead of lauding the resolve of Ndigbo Worldwide, they have continued to exercise their Cluelessness authoring anti-Igbo pieces to massage their egos as if they were great writers.

Without much ado, none of these clowns has been able to deny the fact that right to self-determination is LEGAL. None has been able to deny the fact that Nigeria is Irredeemably Sick and in a state of 'Odindu Onwu Ka Nma.'

The fact remains that those things that pushed Ndigbo to secede in 1967 resulting to a 30-month fratricidal civil war are still glaring us in the faces and have become hydra-headed and worst. Thus, the renewed call for a Sovereign Republic of Biafra.

Dear neighbours, Yorubas, Niger-Deltans, Stop Pretending. You all are also fed up with the Geographical Expression, Nigeria.

The fact remains that Igbos are Republicans. Yahweh Elohim, the Creator of the whole Universe made them so.

Ndigbo are always trailblazers since the 1940s.

Ndigbo have always led agitations against injustices since the colonial era and others follow.

In the Colonial era, only Ndigbo rejected Direct Rule, thus why the Colonial Masters adopted the Indirect Rule, ruling us maliciously but cautiously through our Greedy Brothers- we call such people today "Ndi Efulefu."

Study Nigeria's political mythology to understand this fact. What led to the Aba Women Riot in 1929, note 1929, not 2017, Reckless Taxations of our Grand Parents and Great Grand Parents.

I have spoken to some Afenifere leaders. I can assure these e-warriors who have continued to masturbate over the yearnings of Ndigbo, crying more than the bereaved, that If Biafra goes, Yorubas will follow suit under Oduduwa or whatever name they like. Niger-Deltans would also bid bye to Nigeria.

If these e-warriors like let them continue to pretend that all is well with Nigeria and they love Nigeria more than they love themselves, then, I wish them good luck.

Biafra is Spiritual for Ndigbo. 

I am not sure there is any going back at this auspicious period in our 103 years history of living a false Marriage.

The total compliance of yesterday's Sit-At-Home to honour her fallen heroes and heroines shows that Ndigbo have decided.

Conduct a Referendum today and see if the Ayes won't surpass the Nay by ratio 90:10.
