Biafra Tools: A Scathe Analysis, By Fatade Bamidele

The Biafran agitation has been on for many years but it appears that since the end of the civil war, the struggle has never gained the kind of momentum it presently has..... There must be a reason and the reason isn't far fetched.

The Biafran struggle for independence is hinged majorly on the issues of MARGINALISATION AND UNFAIRNESS the region presumably faces in the Nigerian nation. These concerns have however been deftly managed by successive administrations in Nigeria and this succeeded in calming the agitations momentarily..... Owing to renewed Ndigbo agitation in 2010, the then President manufactured a masterstroke: in September 2010, President Jonathan appointed an Igbo army officer GENERAL AZUBUIKE IHEJIRIKA as the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), a position Ndigbo had never been trusted with since the civil war!! This singular action resulted in widespread jubilation in the East, confidence was restored and a sense of belonging among Ndigbo was rekindled!!! Agitation went into a recluse!! Simple sense!!

From the foregoing, it becomes imperative to tell those desperate for Biafra independence that having a brilliant, intelligent, urbane, nationalistic and completely detribalised President in Nigeria would always kill the Biafran agitation since he would easily identify the issues surrounding the agitations and find means to douse the tension through confidence building.

In the race to actualize the Biafra dream, a major tool needed is an unintelligent, nepotistic, tribalistic and tactless brute occupying Aso Rock!! His tribalism and nepotism would keep giving vent to the Ndigbo dander, his tactlessness would keep spiking the independence adrenaline and his lack of conviviality would keep gathering sympathy for the Biafran agitation!! It's imperative to note that ALL that is required to actualize the Biafra dream is a guarantee of sustenance of the agitations!!! Dear Ndigbo, see where Brutus Muhammadu Buhari is your friend!!

Within a short while of the vindictive and tactless regime of Buhari, he has succeeded in waking up the sleeping Dracula, giving the Biafran agitations more bite and clout and sustaining the consciousness of the Ndigbo nation. By his outright nepotism, Buhari has whipped up greater sympathy for the Igbo nation. By his poor understanding of "bottled turbulence" he has turned a hitherto unknown radio noisemaker to a near Ndigbo idol and the hitherto silent IPOB to a massive movement causing Nigeria massive seizures!! All within two years!!!

Conclusively, Ndigbo needs a Buhari for the actualisation of Biafra independence. The Igbo nation must stop praying for Buhari to die, rather they must pray for him to get well quickly, resume his tactless and mindless onslaught against IPOB and his nepotism against Southerners. Ndigbo must pray hard for Buhari to come back well, rig himself back into power in 2019 and continue the repression against the agitations. Igbo people, you should be the one praying for Buhari. He is a requisite tool for the actualisation of your Biafran agenda.

Those who love Nigeria as a nation should however pray for a quick end to such a mindless and tactless regime. All agitators for Biafra on one side and Nigeria on the other side must read and understand this.
