My Wife Always Beats Me Up — Man Cries Out, Seeks Public Opinion [Must Read]

A man has sought public opinion on how to deal with his wife who normally beat him up anytime there's not enough money in the house.

"I have been bearing this burden for long,  don't know who to talk to about it,  my friends too will laugh at me when I tell them,  my family will laugh at me also,  I really don't know what to do.  The thing is that my wife beats me. 

"I see women as sacred altars that are not meant to be harmed,  so whenever she starts her troubles and quarrels, i prefer to keep quiet and lock my self in my room or wear my clothes and leave the house.  But that wearing of clothes gets riskier because if she sees my room open, she will rush in and hit me to the ground.  I cant count how many times she has slapped me,  it's countless honestly.

"My children witness this sometimes and the neighbors all laugh at me whenever they see me coming out to enter my car to work.

"I get scared going home after work, I provide for my family but my wife is not ready to hear their is no money.  She couldn't manage two businesses and it all failed,  and she is now frustrating me to open a boutique this time.

"The salon and book shop I have opened for her,  she brought her family into it and they all ate it down. Depression is dealing with me everyday.  I don't know how to get to a lawyer and tell them my wife beats me,  the look on his face will make me feel more terrible.

"I have many lawyer friends but I don't have the courage to speak up.  I said you can't see me,  that is why I gathered courage to write you.  From the advice I read , it will help me get stronger to know what I can do next. I am the only son with 6 girls.

"I can't be telling my sisters this because,  they will look at me as if I am a weakling.  Please madam I have four children,  when this started early in her third pregnancy where she hit me with the parlour plastic chair,  I thought it was pregnancy tension,  but it kept repeating and now I can't bear this anymore.

"I might die one day without people knowing what lead to my death please.  Thank you! 14 years of marriage,  I married early at 33 because of my mother.  This my wife I never courted her,  my mother found her and told me to come home and see,  and as of then,  I wasn't in a relationship with anyone, so I accepted her and we married.  Did I do anything wrong?  47 years and she is 43years."
