IBB University suspends lecturer, student over sex scandal

A lecturer and student involved in the sex scandal that went viral on social media last February have been recommended for suspension.

Ishaq Yusuf, a lecturer in English and communication studies department and Chidinma Samuel, a 400-level student were at the centre at the scandal at Niger state’s Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai.

A panel recommended their suspension after inviting more than 20 people during its investigation.

The panel which submitted its report to the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Mohammed  Nasir Maiturare at the weekend also recommending the referral of the principal actors in the scandal to various disciplinary committees of the institution.
