The Management of Fc Ifeanyi today departed to Egypt with 71 football contingent to witness and support the Anambra warriors second leg encounter with Al Masry of Egypt.

Prior to the first leg encounter which took place at the home soil of Fc Ifeanyi Ubah at Nnewi/Ozubulu Stadium on Sunday 12, 2017, where Anambra Warriors recorded a one(1) nil(0) impressive and slim win over their opponent in a match which saw Anambra warriors dominates with 80 - 20% in ball possession.

A win for Africa. A continental win as Fc Ifeanyi Ubah remains a gift from God to Africa.

Penultimately, the President of Fc Ifeanyi Club,  Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has written to the Nigerian Community resident in Egypt to come out en-mass and support their father land team as they set to secure all the three points needed.

Below is the official press release from the club president.

"To Nigeria Community in Egypt, I write to inform you that one of the Nigerian Clubs will be playing against Al-Masry Sc in Ismailia Stadium and wish to have you all at the stadium to cheer the team up.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah "The Anambra Warriors" will on Sunday engage their Egyptian counterpart (Al-Masry Sc ) in CAF Confederation Cup return leg  of the first Round of the competition.

DATE : Sunday, 19th February 2017.

Venue : Ismailia Stadium, Ismailia Egypt.

Time : 19:00hrs

It is of note that FC Ifeanyi Ubah defeated their Egyptian counterpart Al-Masry Sc one goal to nil (1-0) on Sunday 12th February, 2017 in Anambra state during the first leg encounter. Now, the team needs at least a point from Ismailia encounter to qualify to the  next round of the competition.

Your coming to the Ismailia Stadium for the Support of this Nigeria Team will be most appreciated as this is the Club's first Continental outing outside the shore of Nigeria.

Again, history has always had it that Nigerian Community living in any host country always come out to cheer a Nigerian team up whenever they play in any country outside of Nigeria. Nigerians in Egypt have never failed to follow this antecedent.

I write as an individual who had followed Nigerian teams to various competitions outside Nigeria for years past, where I would always meet with Nigerian Community in such countries as they trooped out in solidarity to cheer Nigeria team up during a match.
I therefore urge you all to come out en mass. Let's go cheer our team to victory ...

Anyi Bu Ndi Mmeri!
