How this recession could be a blessing in disguise to some of our wives, by Anayo Nwosu

Mr Akidi Amaoke has been a family man whose only shortcoming is his unquenchable desire for extra marital sex. For him, if he could afford it, he would do it but not to the detriment of his family responsibilities.  
Not that Akidi was so fantastic in bed but his libido is such that his penile organ has declared independence from his brain control.

The real man in him won't stop nodding as agama lizard would, whenever a busty or booblicious lady passes by.

The wife, Onemetalu, has given up and had advised herself not to be bothered by the stories of her husband's escapes.

But the current regime of economic recession not the preachings of his pastors has changed everything.

The cost of everything including that of procuring and maintaining side chicks has gone up.

The nagging recession-induced inflation has left Akidi Amaoke with no surplus after paying school fees, rent and other incidental expenses.

Even in his madness, Akidi loves his wife and could do anything to please her. This knowledge makes the wife to pity her husband's side-chicks and would jokingly tell her friends that she owns the brokus while side chicks warm it for her.

What else would prove Madam Onemetalu right when on one day, Akidi took a lady he had just met on an adulterous visit to a hotel?

Settling down for business in the hotel room, the lady wanted to take advantage of Akidi at that time when all men are usually vulnerable.

"I will not allow you in except you promise to give me N700,000 to solve a personal problem", the lady struck.

Akidi's balloon started losing air and finally collapsed in his boxers. He has just received sense and began to put on his dresses.

The lady couldn't believe Akidi's response.
"How can a man recoil at this point of no return", the lady wondered.

Akidi announced that his spirit had just asked him not to go ahead with the sin they were about to commit and that he had hearkened to the instruction.

The lady thought that her partner was a born again christian who just realized that he was backsliding and has just got a spiritual reset without knowing that Akidi actually meant an "economic" sin.

"We must leave here right now", Akidi said to the bewildered lady as if the building was about to collapse.

Yes, the bait or manipulation of the tempestuous lady has collapsed.

Akidi couldn't rationalize giving or promising to give this lady N700,000 out of his monthly income of a N800,000 just for one visit; something he gets free at home.

If Akidi had fallen prey to this perilous woman's machination, he then would have just worked for her for a whole month.

Leaving the hotel with a full tank that needed to be emptied, Akidi called his wife using a romantic tone, "Honey, recall that you had begged me for N50,000 in the morning which you said you needed to  purchase a pair of shoes and bag and I refused?"

"Don't mind me jare! Please take the money from my wardrobe and buy those items", he ended with "you mean so much to me!"

The wife shouted "Praise Master Jesus", took the money and dashed to the market before Akidi would call or return to say that he didn't mean what he said.

Not only did Onemetalu buy the pair of shoes and bag, she also used her own money to buy a fowl which she used to make a delicious food for her loving husband.

For being so nice in a long while, Onemetalu didn't make the food alone delicious, she also added sweetener and new styles to her waist to the extent that her husband didn't know whether he was coming or was going that night.

Akidi was equally grateful for the way his wife appreciated his kind gesture but that in itself has now created a new burden or worry in his mind.

Her wife was unusually adventurous in bed last night. She ate him raw.

"This woman must have been taught some new styles by some else; we have never done it like this before" he kept weighing in his mind until he decided to now watch wife very closely to identify the interloper or the tutor, who he swore to kill with his hand.

The following weekend, Akidi's wife testified in her Sisters' Fellowship to how God had changed her husband to a dedicated one-woman-man and how he now stays at home after work to play with her and the kids.

She has never had it so good since their honeymoon and prior to the birth of their first child.

Akidi's wife doesn't know that her husband is responding to bad economy and is also monitoring her to know how she acquired her new moves in the bed.

Akidi is unknowingly enjoying what those who show love to their wives get.

With a woman that feels loved, no one experience is the same. She would make all your coming and going in bed very noisy and blissful.
