The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra on Monday advised the Indigenous People of Biafra to stop giving attention to Chief Ralph Uwazuruike.
Uwazuruike, a former MASSOB leader, and IPOB have been engaged in a war of words over their roles in the pro-Biafran struggle.
Uwazuruike had described Kanu and IPOB members as “faudsters who are out to deceive gullible people.”
IPOB, on its part, called Uwazuruike a ‘traitor’, accusing him of betraying the struggle for the restoration of Biafra by working with “Hausa/Fulani Islamic jihadists.”
MASSOB, in a statement by its leader, Uche Madu, urged IPOB to disregard Uwazuruike.
Madu said Uwazuruike was no longer relevant in the ongoing pro-Biafran struggle.
The MASSOB leader expressed concern that his fellow secessionists in IPOB were making Uwazuruike relevant by trading words with him.
He stressed that Uwazuruike was ‘already discredited’ and therefore should be ignored.
